MEANT TO BE

Ch 4

Anurag held the reports close to his chest. He fell on his knees, tears rolling down his eyes. Everyone there was crying. The reports stated it was Pre. How could it be her? How could she break her promise? How could she leave her Anurag like this? They had vowed to be together forever.
<<Flashback>>
After Anurag had confessed his love to Pre they had gone in the temple to take the blessings of Durga maa. After they had prayed Anu saw that Pre was worried. He asked her and she said she got some eerie feelings. She felt they would never be able to stay together happily. She was scared of this weird feeling. Then Anu had made a promise to her that he would never ever leave her even in her dream and she made the same promise. Then they had sealed this promise of theirs with their very first kiss. It was a passionate kiss laced with care and love for each other.

Anurag remembered this and started to cry even more. Why did Pre do this to him? Why?

Still somewhere deep in his heart he felt this all was just a bad bad very bag dream. It would end soon and they would have their happily ever after.

Everyone was crying badly. Mohini's and Veena's health had even deteriorated. They had been crying for the past six to seven hours continuously.

Anupam and Nivi thought they had to take charge of the situation now. Everyone was broken from deep within. How could they not be Pre was such a pure, lovely and cheerful soul who brought light of happiness to everyone's life.

Anupam and Nivi were just scared to look at how quiet Anu was. He had not spoken anything from the past 10 hours. All he did was cry, in between be lost somewhere and then cry even more. It seemed as if he was reliving all the happy memories he had created with Pre again but when he realized what had actually happened he cried. His breathe was taken away from him. His Pre ,his everything, his soul, his life, his happiness ,his smile.

Then he just got up from there and rushed towards the Gate of the hospital. Anupam followed him but before Anupam could stop him he sat in his car and drove away.
