[Blind]

“Where are these people? They should be on duty right now." Will complained.

“Not on days like this. Monsters took their shift now. Help me with this rosy-boy." Raven replied.

“Who you callin' rosy boy, huh?" Will retorted while they threw themselves on the opening.

After several attempts, they forced the door open.

“Classic." I remarked.

“It will take some time if we'll approach this stuff with pins and lock picking techniques on the movies. That thing can catch up to us any moment now. Let's camp out here for a while. " Raven added.

“We'll sleep in this place? Can we get out of here as soon as possible?" I demanded. The tension made me feisty and my tone was a bit authoritative.

I bet my Mom's dead worried.

“With that monster out there and  state you're in??"Raven looked at me with repulsion.

Why this-

“Excuse me? You forced me to jump out from a window on the second floor, remember? Who do you think whose fault is this??" I glared at him.

“Oh! Now it's MY fault that I SAVED YOU from being eaten by that thing?" He stated with spunk.

He's rubbing it on me! How modest of him!!

“He has a point, princess. You still can't walk quite well and it's given that you can't run. It's dangerous for you to wander around with shaky feet. How about we take a break until we can think things through?" The redhead stepped in.

Oh shut up.

I limped ahead, exasperated from everything. It's pitch-black inside.

“Anybody got anything to light this place with?"

“I have my lighter. Is that enough?" Will volunteered.

“Good enough." Raven uttered. He grabbed Will's lighter and lit the passageway with its glow.

I looked at Will with an eye-brow raised.

“What?" He asked innocently.

“Nothing." I rolled my eyes. He's still on cigarettes.

Our steps echoed along with the cadence of the rain through out the hall. The lighter provided a dim-light yet there were times that I unknowingly stumbled against things. One of my shoes, the right pair to be exact, were tossed out when I was jumping for my life.

Great. I got a twisted ankle and a stubbed toe. Just great.

My irritation was growing worse.

“Got PMS, princess? You look constipated." Will chuckled. He was trying to lift the mood. I just frowned at him.

“Shhh...Something's approaching." Raven warned. He put out the lighter and we waited in anticipation. We hid on a corner.

Don't tell me its another of that thing.

It slowly approached us with light and inaudible steps. I heard something metallic clinked. Then the sound suddenly dissipated.

Huh?

We stayed there for several minutes. Nothing happened.

“We better get going. Coast seems clear." Will whispered.

I was about to get up when something cold made me freeze.
