Adrien's POV

"NO...." I got startled when suddenly I heard Amaya's panicked scream.

Since I was in her room as I was scared to leave her alone, I immediately went towards her and sat next to her trembling self.

"Hey my little butterfly, it's okay. I'm here." I kept on cooing softly in her ears while stroking her hair to relax her.

Gradually her trembling reduced and she slowly opened her eyes and looked at me with a lot of uncertainties and confusion.

"A...Adrien?" She asked and before I could say anything further, she hugged me tightly.

"I..I m..missed you so m..much! Wh..where were you all these y..years?" She asked hiccupping.

"Hey hey stop crying my little butterfly, what matters is now I'm here and this time I'm not gonna leave you alone ever."

"Promise Adi?" She asked while showing me her pinkie finger and I intertwined my pinkie with hers.

"Promise. Now stop crying or else I'm gonna leave you."

"NOOOO!!!" She immediately wiped her face and hugged me tightly and I also held her in my arms with content. I was hugging my sister after two whole years!

I suddenly started laughing loudly with the aim to ease the tense atmosphere and released her, "I was just talking about going to my room!"

She playfully slapped me and glared at me, "I don't wanna talk with you."

"Are you sure about that?" I asked teasingly to her and she just pouted and changed her direction. Showing me her back.

"Okay okay I'm going!" I said while pretending to go towards the door.

I had reached midway yet she didn't come to stop me, oh no. Will she not stop me?
I really wanted to stay with her tonight as I won't be able to sleep knowing what she had just gone through this morning.

It's okay, I will just come back here when she goes to sleep. I said consoling myself.
I had reached the door and I was about to twist the knob to open it when I felt her hugging me from behind.

"Please don't ever leave me alone again." She said softly.

"Never my little butterfly."

"Hello my people! Did you miss me?" Asked Christian while dramatically entering the room.

"CHRISTIAN! What happened to your forehead?" Asked Amaya worriedly to Christian who had just come back from his home after freshening up.

"Why should you have all the fun with the hospital! I too wanted a bandage and see how it feels like and plus the attention and care I can get is a big plus." Said Christian with a shrug.
