Things had just gotten clear to Smith about Angela’s true identity. He thought the whole while that she was truly Angela and was fully convinced she killed her sister just to steal Carter from Christine. All the trouble he had gone through trying to make Carter see what he saw was all now in vain.
Smith thought all this while that the trouble between he and Carter was due what Carter didn’t know, but he just came to realise he was the only one troubled and it was because of what he thought he knew, that wasn’t so.
Meanwhile, Christine was still at Carter’s house, waiting for him to return. She had her phone on the dining table in the kitchen, while she watched TV in the living room. A few minutes later she left to use the rest room, and while she was there she heard a voice from the living room.

“I am in but I don’t see anyone around sir” The stranger said

“Oh no… Carter” she soliloquised, placing her hands in her pockets in search of her phone.

“Gosh!!!” she exclaimed, remembering she had left it in the kitchen.

Now she was left with the problem of how to get to her phone without being spotted by the strange man who was obviously in search of her.

“I just left her house, she has to be here sir.” the man said, then he continued;

“The TV is on, someone must be here. I will search further sir.”

He switched of the TV and roamed around the living room before moving to the kitchen to look for evidence of her presence.
Christine on the other hand knew she couldn’t stay too long in the rest room or she would be caught. She quietly opened the door and looked around for the man but didn’t see him.

“He must have gone up” she thought.
She walked out slowly, looked across the living room and spotted her phone still on the dining table.

“Phew!!! Now I just need to get there without being spotted” she said out of relief that her phone had not been taken, then she quietly made her way to the living room, hiding by the chairs and trying to make her way to the dining table. Seeing no one after looking around again, she got up and quickly made her way to the dining table. She grabbed her phone and went under the table, remaining there to call Carter.

“What is it?” Carter asked as he picked the call.

“Carter help, they have come after me” she was saying before her phone’s battery died.

“Oh not now!!” she exclaimed after realising her phone died. She peeped around again to check if the stranger was close by, she could see no one around so she quickly made her way to the door. In attempt to open the door, she heard the man’s voice again.

“You know the thing about hunting?” The man said rhetorically.

“Please!!” Christine pleaded, with a shallow voice as tears begun to roll down her cheek as she turned around to face him.

“It’s a game that if played well, your prey always ends up where you want.” replying his question and totally ignoring the plea from Christine.

“The door is locked even if you tried” he continued, as he begun to walk towards her

“You are the one acting to be Angela, aren’t you?” He asked again
Christine looks up at him out of shock, she begins to shiver as she moved backwards until she hits the door, she could feel the key still in the door touching her back “He must have forgotten to remove the key” she thought to herself as she quietly took it out behind her, keeping it in her back pocket.

“Didn’t mother teach you not to lie?!!!” The man said as he tried to grab her with a sinister smile on his face.

Christine has never been the type to give up easily in any situation. She managed to push him then ran, trying to make her way outside through the backyard door. She grabbed a frying pan that was lying on the kitchen table then continued to the door, but before getting there she tripped and hit her head on the pan causing her to bleed.
