It's lunch time for those who have electives period five meaning I don't have lunch with my worse half.
Everyday I meet up with my cousin Lydia who is dating my best friend Niall, his sister Elyse and her girlfriend Dylan. These four people are my favorite people in the world, the only people I tolerate. I might feel something for someone but I usually won't let them in, if I do I will most likely get hurt anyway.

Everyone is engaged in a heated conversation about whether Ariana Grande is better than 5sos. I can't be bothered to join the conversation not only because it's useless, but because I am going to email my pen pal early.

As the bell rings I put my phone away and get up completely forgetting that I was sitting with everyone else. I'm brought back to the realization when I feel Lydia's hand on my shoulder.

"Hazza, you were drawn to your phone the whole time. Who was it? Was it that bitch?" She jokes trying to keep up with me.

"It was not the bitch, it was my pen pal." I bite my lip as we continue to walk side by side.

"You and me are talking after practice. That is not me asking either." She says her eyes narrow as she backs away from me, her hands doing the 'I'm watching you' gesture.

I can't imagine why she wants to talk after school, what could she possibly want. She will be keeping me from my new friend, and most likely piss me off anyway. I sigh walking in to the gym, and join Niall and the others.
