Alex's Pov

It had been a pretty awkward rest of the day after I rejected Luke the other day. I know what you're thinking, How could you reject him like that. Not giving him a reason or anything, that's cruel! Well, I myself don't quite understand why because it was feeling right. I..I..I even felt sparks, just from our lips brushing.

It's now night and we're tired. He was asleep so I went ahead, feeling so guilty I though I had to do something so I told him how I really felt.

Luke's Pov

Alex just told me she really likes me and that she was really sorry, also that she really wanted to kiss me. After that she also kissed my cheek. Electricity rushing through my body. I parted my lips to speak, but right before any sound left my mouth I realized that she probably did that just because she thought I was asleep.

I was up all night thinking about what had happened, what she said. And I think I'm falling for her, fast! It is now 9 AM and we have decided to have breakfast, after I kept on saying I wasn't hungry, but my stomach said otherwise. And she noticed. We were having some chocolate oatmeal energy bars that she found in her backpack. Lightly we had been limiting each other to the food we ate, because we had no idea how long we were going to be stuck here. There was an awkward silence. And the only thing that was heard was the sound of us munching on our bars and the wind, it was a little chilly. She suddenly broke the silence.

"I hear the wind!" She said with much excitement. Why would she be so excited about hearing the wind.

"So?" I asked with a harsh tone, still mad about how she embarrassed me yesterday, even though we were alone.

"Don't you get it? That means that the wind is getting in from some where, we might just find a way out!" It suddenly hit me. Of course!  

"Oh my god that's great!" 

"Yea" She stood up and started to walk, I screamed for her, but she wouldn't even look back, leaving me to pick the stuff up. Once I cought up to her, We were both out of breath, not only from the running but from the view. There was a giant waterfall, it was beautiful. It was full of white and blue, my favourite colour. 

"Wow!" She was smiling, her lips partialy parted and her pupils here getting bigger, was she...crying? Wow it was time for me to say it, she looked beautiful even when she was crying. The dim light hit her perfectlly, making each and everyone of her perfect features stand out.

"Luke?" She said certain but her voice shaking.

"Yea?"

"Kiss me." I was shocked by her statement but this time her voice wasn't shaky, she was shore what she wanted.

"Are you shore?" I said, while raindrops started to fill our hair and clothes with water. 

"Never been more certain." I leaned in, slowlly, and then electricity rushed through my vains when our lips brushed, it was a strong, passionate kiss. I felt her smilieng into the kiss so I instictively smiled into it too. What's more cheesy than kissing in the rain?
