Sun

I wake up, reside myself so I'm facing the sunlight. I can't move, I need to stay here and feel something first. Rough hands bleed from over use of the past weeks with new duties above the ground. Weak lips ask for the sky to send me water.

My legs feel warm. I felt the sun for the first time today and my skin felt alive. The light was flowing down and felt peaceful. Waving emotions and focus, bumping in and out of presentness. My thoughts are, for the first time, my own to keep. I was taken to another place by the waves of light. I grouped the Aggregate Selves together to see. A family-meeting with the different parts of one mind. Co-opted through chance and slavery. On the edge of the valley that faces the sea, free of our chains. None of us know better. We dance at the speed of a song of joy. Free at last. Our chains lay in the sand. Vedana sings for the first time. Body chooses to lay for the first time. I see a dark figure in the sky and I don't know if it's god or just the rain.
