Silvery Vision (Garroth x reader story)

New information?

This ones gonna be pretty short as well, however over time, the chapters will become longer, trust me, I just need to get a schedule down to plan everything out, hope you enjoy!

"There is a way to mend your memory.." Zoey said. She smiled, her whole demeanor changing. 

"There is?? Zoey why didn't you tell me this sooner?!" Garroth chimed in before y/n could even react. His face lit up; he was clearly the happiest he had been in a while.

"But.. how do I know i'm ready to remember? Everything seems so different, it's all new to me again.. what if things have changed about me within these last 8 months I've been in a coma? I don't really even know my husband that well..."

"Well thats the point of getting your memories back, you can remember everything and take time to reflect on what you want. I cannot restore your memory for quite a while, the spell requires a lot of rare materials, it will take a while to collect them all.. In total, it could be anywhere from a few months to a year. I suggest you take that time to try and reconnect with your family. They need you, y/n"

A tear rolled down y/n's cheek as she nodded, turning to Garroth "Does that work for you as well?" Garroth was still in tears. He slowly made his way to Y/n and hugged her before pulling away and kissing her forehead 

"Yes. I love you, and I will wait any amount of time at all to see you happy again"

Somehow, even though y/n now knew barely nothing, she did know that her and Garroth were meant to be. It was that kind of thing that was just obvious if you would take the time to stop overthinking things and simply exist. The type of thing strangers would know by just a glance. Y/n didn't need to know any fancy life lessons from books, she just needed to feel it. And she could.

"Garroth, you seem pretty amazing. Even if I don't really know you that well anymore, I'm glad your my husband." y/n blurted out, seemingly out of place. The two embraced in a tight hug, Garroth silently crying tears of joy that was wetting y/n's hair.

"y/n, I love you so much" The blonde mumbled into her hair. 

y/n nodded "It'll take me some time to understand exactly how I feel about you but for now I think love is good enough word to describe it" 

"Garroth.. I think we should leave now, there's a nurse. She needs to check up on y/n." 

Garroth lessened his grip on y/n. He stood up, forcing himself not to collapse back into y/n's bed and hug her until he could no more 

"Good bye y/n.. I'll be back tomorrow, I promise!"  y/n quietly nodded at the male, admiring him as he walked away. 

The nurse took care of her, making sure she had enough food and water and didn't need anything. Once the nurse left, y/n just decided to take a nap, not really wanting to think about the real world, she would rather dream about what could have happened in the past, what it looks like outside of the hospital. 

She dreamt about her and Garroths wedding, although everything was quiet a bit off since she had no idea about things like cakes, dancing, singing, and most other normal wedding stuff. She was glad she would finally be able to remember everything, but still wasnt quite sure if she was ready just yet,
