Sort of short chapter this time guys, sorry. The good news is that im back! Because of school I cant upload as much but I'll try and come up with good schedule!
"Pst!" An old sounding voice echoed into Aphmaus ear. She cracked one eye barely open.
"Huh?" she groaned
"Help me wake up your friends, you need to hide."
Aphmau didn't question it. She shook Garroth to wake and they woke Zoey up as well.
"Quick! Get behind the tent!"
They complied as clanking of boots soon became apparent.
"Have you seen these people?" Aphmau's eyes opened wide, her pupils dilating down to sheer terror. Zoey nearly gasped but kept quiet, her mouth covered by Garroth who was doing his best to keep his cool.
"Nope. I've never seen those men in my life"
"Men? Most of them are women"
"Im sorry officers, my eyesight isnt what it used to be"
The officers turned to each other "He clearly knows nothing. Haha" They both agreed then walked off, the sound of their boots growing quieter until they couldnt hear it anymore.
"Thank you." Garroth whispered
okay so this is the most I can currently do, soon I will do more and have more story with less detail like this, so that the plot actually progresses. Sorry for the break!
