Athena's POV

Finally. Everything's in place.

Well... that's what I thought.

"ALEX DON'T", Lauren screamed.

"I HAVE TO", Alex screamed back.

"ALEX PLEASE", Nessa shouted.

"ALEX DON'T DO IT", Aaron shouted too.

Aaron was crying.
Roni was crying.
Nessa was crying.
Lauren was crying.
Alex was crying.
My cousins were crying.
Even I was crying.

"ALEX, THINK ABOUT THIS", I said.

"I- I...", Alex said.

"I'm sorry.", Alex said and ran to defuse the bomb.

"ALEX NO", all of us screamed.

But it was too late.

Alex did defuse the bomb but he got badly electrecuted.

"ALEX", Lauren said and ran up to him.

"Don't touch him, Lauren! You'll get electrocuted too", I said.

Lauren stopped in her tracks once she got close enough.

"Alex", she whispered.

"BRO", Aaron said while running up to Alex.

Aaron fell to his knees and tears went falling down his face as he looked at his brother's injured face.

"Stand back", I said and readied my hands.

They did what I said but wouldn't stop crying.

"Alex, do you hear me?", I asked.

"HELP ME", Alex shouted.

He was trapped in his mind. I could see him in his eyes, knocking on them and trying to escape.

"Hang in there, Alex. I'll find a way to help you out", I said and lifted him up with mind control.

"Guys, come with me", I told the others.

"He's gonna be okay but for now, he's trapped in his own mind", I said.

How did this happen, you ask? Well, long story short, we were having fun when a bunch of guys attacked our safe house.

"Alex, what do you see?", I said.

"Darkness", Alex replied.

He was still trapped. I could only see his upper body.

"How do you feel?", I asked.

"HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU WERE IN A SITUATION LIKE MINE?", Alex screamed.
