Chapter 61: Sorry

It's been a week since she left home, and since she and Roger had an Argument. And it is also a week, since his friend Kenny Everett played the teaser song Bohemian Rhapsody in it's full radio play. Now it is starting to have it's own name to the UK hit charts. Many listeners into other radio stations are requesting it to be played, in which she is happy. She thought to herself that Queen deserve it. She also recieve the news that EMI is going to release the single the next day, and she cannot wait that this song will spot the number one on UK weekly Charts.

As she was listening to the song on radio, Liezel approach her carrying something to eat.

"That song is now becoming a hit! You can now hear it on other radio stations...no wonder that song will reach number one in the charts" Liezel said.

"Yes... You're right..." She smiled to her friend.

"Ahhhmmm....Jilliane...sorry if I'll ask you this but did Roger contact you?" She asked.

"No... Maybe he's still mad at me..." She said.

"Well Now...I don't think so?! What is happening now is quite the contrary of what he is thinking!" Liezel said.

"Yes you're right...but in the other hand, what if what he thought had happen?" She asked her friend.

"But it didn't! Jilliane face this reality! Maybe Queen is meant to music industry!... " Liezel said. "...what happening now is because of you! I tell you! For the second time, you save their careers!" She continued.

She just only sighed and never said a word.

Meanwhile, Roger wake up from his bed. His bedroom now is messy. It's been a week since Jilliane cleaned it. He has a hang over for he drank too much last night. Good thing Brian was there for his rescue returning home, or else, he probably end up in a hotel with an unknown Saturday Girls, or sluts on bed.

He went downstairs and looked at his surroundings, all is quiet. You can only hear the sound of waves in the nearby sea and the birds in their garden. He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth and he saw Jilliane's toothbrush. Her cute pink toothbrush. After brushing he went out and saw Jilliane's working desk. He approached it and touch the desk. He saw a mini shelf that he had never saw before and he looked at it. As he pulled it he saw one of their albums. The Queen II album, and he also saw the 2 remaining album. As he opened the Sheer Heart Attack album he saw some paper scraps and he read it. He acknowledge that it was her album review. He read the review of "Dear Friends" and she noted it...

"This song has a lullaby feeling... A song that guarantees one's hope that dreams do come true after experiencing a big loss of anything..
I salute my Friend Brian for composing this wonderful song!..."

And he read another song review she had wrote and it's about "Killer Queen"

"Killer Queen has really good melody that you will not think that it was made by a rock and roll band... A story and circumstances of a.... Slut?!"

Roger smiled as he read it. And she is right about this song. It is a song about a prostitute woman as Freddie wrote it. He closed the album and put it all in the mini shelf. Now he thought of Jilliane and what he have done to her. He sighed and he made up his mind that he will apologise to her. Suddenly, the phone rang. And he answered it.

"Yeah...Roger Taylor on the line...." He said.

After that call, he went to their Queen Office and he saw the three sitting on the sofa. Freddie is not minding him, he knows Freddie is mad at him for what he have done to Jilliane. He is not saying anything. He just light up his cigarette and their manager John Reid came out of the office.

"So... The four of you are now complete...now let's have a conversation..." John Reid started and sat on a couch. The band were all silent.

"This previous week a certain DJ Kenny Everett played a teaser song to his listeners and played it the other day for 14 times... And that song as we know it, was your "single"... And after that the radio listeners starts to request to be played on other radio stations to... And now... This morning EMI has released it..." John Reid said.

Freddie didn't said anything but only giving Brian and Deaky his grin. While the two smiled. Roger didn't said anything, he just inhaled his cigarette.

"...as if this moment... Your single is now on the 9th spot on UK's weekly chart.... This is a storm!" He exclaimed.

"....and not only that... If your song will be at number one slot, it will have a chance to be feature on "Top Of the Pops"!" John Reid said. "....but don't celebrate yet! We still do not know what will going to happen!"

"Yes... You're right." Brian said.

"We still have to monitor how long this song will last!... That's for now boys! See you next time!" John Reid said.

After that conversation, Roger finds a way to talk with Freddie.

"Ah...Fred!" He exclaimed in which the latter turned his head towards him.

"I just want to have a talk with you..." He started.

"Have you ever talked to your wife?" Freddie asked.

"No...not yet...I just want to talk with you first and-" he cannot continue what he is about to say because Freddie made a hand gesture to stop.

"Before you talk to me... Talk first to Jilliane! She needs more of your apologies! In that way, you can only talk to me... when you finally rearrange all the matters with your wife!" Freddie said and left.

Roger sighed and Brian tapped his shoulder.

"You better asked apology first to Jilliane... Freddie is right... She needs more apology than him.." Brian said.

"You had hurt her feelings more than Freddie..." Deaky said.

"I don't think Jilliane will going to forgive me..." Roger said to them.

"But why?" Brian asked.

"I hurt her feelings... But that is not what i really mean to her..." Roger said.

"And what?" Deaky asked.

"I am just afraid..." Roger said and sighed. "...afraid that she might get harmed... And I am afraid that I might be failed to protect her if the situation will become worst..." He continued.

"We understand..." Brian said and nod. "...but I think...for now... You must face this fears... If you really want to safeguard her. Go now... And ask her forgiveness..." He added.

"...thanks...Brian...Deaky..." He said to them.

The two only nod and Roger went out the Queen's Office and ride his car. He was now on the way to Jilliane's friend's house.
