background story;

my name is Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam. i am 16 years old and i am in year 10. i live in Sydney, Australia with my family. i have an older brother named Chris and a younger sister named Darcy. i just moved to Sydney because my dad got a job promotion. thank god we moved on the holidays so i didn't  have to go straight to school. but the day has come, the first day at my new high school.

{Sam's p.o.v}

as i woke up to the sound of my alarm i suddenly felt a wave of confidence rush through me. this is a fresh start, a clean slate, a second chance. i was kinda excited now, i had never really felt that way about  school. at my i old school i wasn't popular, i had never had a boyfriend and no one really noticed me.

''bye, i love you!'' i shouted to my mum as i walked the door. ''bye sweetheart, be safe and make friends.'' as i was walking to school i noticed a tall boy walking on the other side of the road. he was really cute, sandy blonde hair that flopped over his face, covered partly with a bucket hat. i pushed the thought of him aside and kept walking. 'no boy drama.'

{Ruel's p.o.v}

as i was walking to school i look across the road to see a beautiful girl walking in the same direction as me. i couldn't help but stare at how gorgeous she was. she glanced over and caught me looking. ''shit'' i mutter almost instantaneously under my breath whilst looking away.

{Sam's p.o.v}

i looked over at the boy across the road when i caught him staring at me, he turned away and muttered something. i couldn't help but giggle. i looked at him to find that he was blushing, but also smiling wildly. he looked up and winked at me. now it was my turn to blush, ugh he would be the death of me.

**skip to school**

school was huge. there were so many kids.you could obviously tell that it was 'that' type of school. the one with the jocks, the dancers, the popular girls, the emos, the geeks, the glee kids, etc. but than i saw him. the boy from across the road.
