Sam left without saying a word to me. "Damn it." I muttered. Coco looked at me a little taken back. I didn't say anything I just looked at my feet. How could I be so stupid. My thoughts were interrupted.

"Uh, earth to Ruel."

I didn't realise coco was trying to talking to me.

"Oh, um, sorry. What?" I replied.

"I said, what's up with you and Sam. Why r you guys being weird around each other."

"Nothing, it's nothing." I said.

"If you hurt he-"

"JESUS CHRIST COCO! ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS SO JUST PISS OFF!" I yelled at her getting mad at the fact that she thought that I would ever hurt Sam.

Coco looked a little offended but I didn't care. I stormed off towards my room and slammed my door. I just stared at the ceiling and laid in my bed. How could I fix this?

~Sam's p.o.v~

I got home and headed straight to my room. No one was home. I laid on my bed and decided to text coco.

Sam: Hey, sorry for walking out :/

Coco: All good. But what's up with you and Ruel. He seems mad at himself for some reason. Did he do anything.

Sam: No. But, um, I only walked out because, well, you know that boy from English I kinda like.

Coco: Yeah ;)

Sam: Well, I didn't know at the time, but it was your brother.

Coco: Oh my god really?! U like Ruel. Hahahahahaha. Why didn't you just say. It's so obvious he likes you too.

Sam: Wait ur not mad. Wait really, he likes me?

Yeah, well I think he does. But I think that he thinks you don't like him, because you walked out.

Sam: WHAT?! ugh I'm so dumb. I walked off on him in science too.

Coco: Wait I'll go talk to him. Brb.

~Ruels p.o.v~

I heard a knock on my door.

"Go away." I said

"Ruel come on. I just want to talk."

"No. Now piss off." I just wanted some peace and quiet. I just wanted to think about Sam and how I could make this right.

"Ugh." She didn't come in but continued to talk through the door.

"I texted Sam." She said. I immediately got off my bed and opened the door. As I sat back down on my bed she preceded.

"She likes you Ruel. She didn't walk out cause she is mad at you, she is just a little shy, that's all."

What?! Was Coco telling the truth? Or was this all some sick game to get a laugh out of me. I don't know. She handed me her phone. It was a thread of messages between her and Sam. Oh my god. It was true.

My jaw dropped and Coco just smirked at me.

"So, r u going to text her or what?" She said.

I wrote down her number on my hand and got my phone out. I typed in her number and looked up at Coco to leave.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm going"

~Sam's p.o.v~

I was laying on my bed when I got a text from a random number.

Sam: Hello?

unknown: Oh shit. Sorry it's Ruel. :)

Sam: Oh, hey. :)

Ruel: Sorry if I weirded you out in English.

Sam: U didn't. And I know that Coco talked to you btw.

Ruel: Oh, hahah yeah. Sam. Can I ask you a question?

Sam: Yeah ofc

Ruel: Do u like me?

Sam: Maybe

Ruel: Is that a yes? :)

Sam: Maybe

Ruel: Now your just being mean. :(

Sam: Do u like me?

I couldn't believe what I had heard. Ruel liked me? Ruel wants to learn about me? I felt like I would faint. Ugh, I couldn't move, my heart so beating out my chest. Was he actually doing this to me.
