"Thank you for coming"Mrs. Wilson shook the people's hands as they walk out the church in sadness. I watch as Silas was looking down with his shades on. I felt so bad for him. That man was like his best friend. His father. His grandpa did everything for Silas. While his father was gone on a business trip or just wasn't there, his grandpa was there every game and graduation. "Thank y'all so much for coming"Mrs. Wilson sniffle.

"What time y'all leaving back to California?"Mr. Wilson ask.
"In a few, we just came to say goodbye"Silas said.
"Oh god"Mrs. Wilson came and hugged Silas. "I didn't want you two to leave"

"Magnolia, remember what I told you"Mrs. Wilson hugged me.
"I remember"I smiled.
After saying goodbye to Silas parents, we took off away from the house and back on the road. I did a lot of thinking when I was at the funeral. Maybe I should go to school for something. But I don't know what to go to school for. I'm good at makeup but not hair. I love my job as a security guard. But bill was right and Silas mother. I'm too pretty and smart to be working as a security guard.
