Pre was in the delivery room and Anurag was sweating outside… doctors said it wont take much time now then what the hell were they doing… its been 8 hrs damn it.
He heard the cry of the baby and then another… and he collapsed on the bench as if all of his energies left him suddenly. Nurse came out and told him he was a father of twins now… a son and a daughter… the nurse wanted him to hold his babies but Mohini Nivi Molloy all of them were just going to pounce on the bundles when Anupam snatched the kids and kissed their heads and said mera double haq hai… mama bhi aur phupha bhi…

Anurag was still holding his son but he was in shock couldn't say much… the doc came out and he gave his son to Nivi and rushed to the entrance of the OT ...when the doctor smiled and slapped on his back…"So how is the Boy holding up Moloy?"
Moloy and everybody else started to laugh because few hours ago Anurag had threatened the doctor to throw him out of the OT and take care of Preez delivery himself because the doctors were not doing their work properly...he would have punched the doctor too had it not been for Pree who had thrown him out of the OT saying if he didnt leave she will throw him out of the window herself… and then immediately started screaming and crying because of the contraction.
Anurag was embarrassed but he was not ready to apologise until he saw Pree hale and hearty. And he was still inclined to punch the daylights out of the Docs face for not making it easier for Pree ...The Loser.
Doctor saw Anu trying to intimidate him by coming close to him and looming over his head like a lamp post… but he was aged and had seen many new Dads going bonkers at this time. On the more Molly was a good friend. So, he let Anurag go with a wink.
Anurag rushed to meet Pree who was half asleep and half excited. Her eyes were dark circle rimmed… her face had gone pale and grayish due to the 8 hrs of struggle and pain she had borne…
She felt Anu around her and She mumbled his name…
Pree: Anurag….i am fine...fine….(Anu nodded his head while crying and trembling with fear… but he couldn't say anything). I am just tired… and Anu rushed to take her hands in his own…
Pree: Did you meet them (Anu nodded yes.) Do they look like you.. she extended one hand and Anu immediately held her hand in his and kissed her.
Anu.: She looks like her mom
Pree: And our son?
Anu : Son ...oh i didnt see him. Haa kuchh pichke huye tamatar ki tarah kuchh dekha toh tha… kuchh yaad nahi par.
Pree: oh so you have already started with your bias huh… Tu dekh Grumpy..... dare... dare you pamper your daughter more than my son I will pull out all your hair from your head one by one. Just ..just that i am tired right now… just a bit of sleep and then you see… and she fell asleep.
And Anurag Basu found his first smile of the day and kissed his wife's forehead… and whispered “BANDARIYAA” ...thinking he better meet his son properly with some witnesses around or he might need a wig soon..
Pree came home with lots of fanfare… and because it was just 4 days since the Basus and Sharmas had started their celebrations.. but within 15 mins of Pree coming home Mr. PAPA Basu was found sleeping on the kitchen counter…
While everyone were still decorating the house… Papa Bear was totally out snoring his way out for the first half an hour. Pree came to look for the milk.. Anu was going to make the feed for the babies and found him sleeping while standing near the gas… The milk had obviously boiling now. Pree switched the gas off and looked at her hubby who has not slept for at least last 2 days...to say that Anurag Basu was the craziest happiest Dad in history would be an understatement.
Pree came and stood on her much advanced Robo Walker and hugged him and put his head on her shoulder… her peace ..her love… her world was surrounded by this crazy man. When he smiles for his babies ...its like someone has lit her world with thousand fairy lights. She didn't need angels her one angel in her arms was enough to fight the whole world... she rubbed his back like she did with the babies… she smelled his clothes they were stinking of a smell which was rotten milk...baby vomits and what not. PAPA Bear has been unbeatable in the face of two very angry demanding and vulnerable forces...his son and his daughter...whom everybody called Mithhi or Mishtu. Her Son was the quieter one so easily forgotten but he was his mummas Prince. But Pree kept a strict eye that no one should appreciate him less than his boisterous sister. And if anybody dared she just very politely threw the person out of the room. But for now how to take her biggest sleeping baby to their room?
She smiled to herself and then she dipped her hands in eyes cold water and gently wiped her hand on his eyes… he must be so tired by now but she was also unable to move him like this… Anu woke up to someone trying to wake him up in the most soothing way possible.. nd thn he felt a pair of lips kissing his eyes...as if really upset about waking him up.
And she heard him sigh...nd he removed his weight from her shoulder and yet kept on holding onto her… it seems like years he has had her in his arms… without the huge bump in between them it felt Strange.. and yet good so good.
He woke up to see his Pree was embarrassed and worried for him. The way her eyes searched each nuance of his face as if she could read him all. Then she took him by hand and started to move towards their room .
She filled the tub.. put his favourite bathing salt and started to shampoo his hair… wash his back and his face and torso.. when Anu remembered that she still had stitches and was not supposed to do this kind of work…
He got up suddenly and splashed a lot of water here and there and started scolding Pree
Anu: What the hell were you thinking Bandariya ...your stitches… you shouldn't bend… you shouldn't have climbed the stairs...blah blah …
Anu: You Mumma Bear have no restraints… just because Papa Bear is Drop dead gorgeous doesn't mean you will start at the first chance. Yeh koi tarika nahi hota… bandariya teri koi halat hai to seduce anybody...and neither am I available for now. Jahan handsome munda dekha teri niyat kharab ho jaati hai, you loose character aurat. Do bachcho ki amma ban gayi hai. Apne libido ko thoda control mein rakh. Meri izzat pe haath mat dalna,nahi toh Two Baby Bears will get really angry if they found out that you were trying to molest their innocent Dad …. Towel kaha hai mera? Udhar peechhe dekho. Mere haseen badan pe buri nazar mat daalo
And the missiles of soap shampoo bottle loofa...started to land very near to his head and he just managed to dodge then and reach out to Pree and then take her lips in a passionate kiss which left both of them breathless… and then he screamed SAVE ME… Baby Bears save Papa… This Mumma bear is after your handsome hunk Dads izzat. And ran out of the bathroom managing to wrap the towel around ….
All the family was right outside the bathroom door and thy found Papa Bear in just his towel with his hair going haywire… some soap suds still on his body and hair… And the whole of Sharmas and Basus started laughing in a riot…
But the two chief guests the Baby bears seemed totally unimpressed by their Nautanki Dads impressed were they with his monkeying around...and that they had expected better from their father’s crazy harkats...They yawned big and then promptly fell asleep showing their Dad how unimpressed were they with his monkeying around...and that they had expected better from their father.
