Stuff Happens (Sesshomaru X OC)

Chapter Eleven

~Akane~

Since then Sesshomaru has been helping me regain control over my demonic power, since i was a little rusty with them, anyway as we were travelling in our constant search for any signs of Naraku i hear Rin's stomach growl "Lord Sesshomaru, i'm getting really hungry, may i go and look for something to eat?"Rin asked.

"Rin i hate that you have to ask, just be careful"i told her "I will"Rin said running off, as we were waiting for her to come we suddenly heard her scream, Sesshomaru and i wasted no time running over, Rin was captured by a severed arm and while Sesshomaru sliced it up i caught Rin, i landed next to Sesshomaru and let Rin go watching the arm.

The arm turned to those demon wasp or whatever that Naraku likes to keep around, or so i've been told "Stand back"Sesshomaru said before standing up, i stood up as well "That Naraku he left behind some annoying vermin"he said as the wasp turned back into the arm "Jaken there should be a hive nearby"Sesshomaru said "Yes i will go look for it"Jaken said before running off with Rin following behind.

I went with them since i knew Sesshomaru could handle himself, "Look master Jaken that's the hive"Rin said pointing it out, then i heard buzzing "Get down Rin"i told her taking out my sword and using its power to extend to take out the wasp from a distance , i sliced all of them up but more showed up from the hive.

"Akane"I heard Sesshomaru and jumped out of the way as he used Tokijin to wipe out all of the demon wasp and their hive, some had managed to escape and they stung Jaken before i sliced them up as it was my priority to protect Rin, i let one of them escape though and followed after Sesshomaru as he followed the wasp, it should lead us to Naraku.

"What happened to the Saimyosho?Did you kill them?"Sesshomaru asked as we faced Inuyasha and his group after having chased the wasp in a ball of light "Saimyosho? You mean those poison insects?"Inuyasha asked "You're so short sighted"Sesshomaru said "What?"Inuyasha asked "I was following them to Naraku but no i have nothing to lead me"Sesshomaru said.

"Let me make one thing clear i didn't kill those bugs"Inuyasha said "You have an excuse for everything, it does get so tiresome"Sesshomaru said drawing Tokijin"I don't have to make excuses for you i'm telling the truth"Inuyasha said drawing Tessaiga, i sighed a bit, there they go at it again.

"Inuyasha i'm not feeling particularly magnanimous today i won't go easy on you like i have in the past"Sesshomaru said "Ah cut the crap and don't come crying to me afterward"Inuyasha said before attacking and just as i thought they started fighting again, i sweatdropped a bit watching them fight for like the tenth time since i've been here.

I sighed sitting on the ground watching them as i leaned on my hand, eventually Sesshomaru disarmed Inuyasha and pointed Tokijin at him "I win this time are you prepared to die Inuyasha?"Sesshomaru asked, Inuyasha scoffed "I don't care about my life kill me and get it over with"Inuyasha said, for a minute i wondered if Sesshomaru would actually do it before Kagome called for Sesshomaru to wait.

"Do you wanna know where to find Naraku?"she asked, duh we've been going in circles trying to find him "Then head for the Ox Tiger, someone sensed Naraku's presence heading that way"she said, ox tiger? North east if i remember right "That's all i needed thank you, you were fortunate this time Inuyasha"Sesshomaru said walking away from him, i got up and walked over to Sesshomaru walking at his side "Wait why are you after Naraku?"Inuyasha asked as we were leaving "I have a score to settle"Sesshomaru simply said.

As we were walking back i suddenly got a bad feeling and stopped and looked back "Something the matter Akane?"Sesshomaru asked "I have a bad feeling, i think Rin might be in danger"i said before going on ahead letting my instincts lead me, Sesshomaru followed me though "That reminds me, you were able to tell Rin was in danger before Kagura took her correct?"he asked.

I nodded "I had a bad feeling back then too, i think its my maternal instincts kicking in"i said, Sesshomaru hummed a bit "You always were the motherly type"he said, i smiled a bit before picking up speed as i glided through the air with Sesshomaru following behind me.

The sun was setting as we finally reached the ravine, i spotted Rin in the distance and moved even faster as the rock below her gave out and she started falling "Lord Sesshomaru! Akane!"she called as she fell, i caught her in my ball of light form and went to the top of the ravine before turning back, Sesshomaru landed next to me and looked at Rin.

Rin was holding onto some plant, this plant was an antidote used by demons, so Jaken must of gotten poisoned from the Saimyosho, with that in mind we hurried back to where Jaken was, Sesshomaru gave Jaken the berries while i was watching Rin who was laying on A-Un.

Rin finally woke up as night had fallen, Jaken told her how Sesshomaru and i had saved her, "Lord Sesshomaru, Akane, thank you"Rin said coming over "You're welcome but you really should be more careful"i told her "I will"Rin said smiling "Let's go"Sesshomaru said and we headed off towards North East.
