2.Tadpoles are baby turtles

I wake up to the sound of my stupid alarm ringing. I groan and hit the 'snooze' button.

I lay there,on my bed for a few minutes hoping that this was just a dream and I was actually back home.

Once I realize that in fact it's not a dream I get out of bed and take a shower.

I straighten my ugly brown hair and then I do my makeup, I decide to go with a natural look and not overdue it. Cause ya know, I don't want people to think im a whore or something. I mean it's my first day I don't wanna give a bad impression.

Once im done with that, I put on some black skinny jeans, a white crop top that says 'cool kids don't dance' and my black vans. To top it all of I put on a whole bunch of random random bracelets. I look in the mirror Once more and then head to the kitchen to have breakfast. "Here honey I made some eggs with Bacon and also heres some orange juice." My mum says sweetly.

"Aww thanks mum" I say smiling. About ten minutes later my mums driving me to school since I don't have a car yet.

"Have a good day honey" she says then drivers off.

I sigh and walk into the school.

As I walk to my first period I feel someone tap my shoulder so I turn around.

"Hey im Luke, I knew you were new here." Says Luke, the boy that brought our pizza the other day.

"Oh Hey" I respond.

"Can I see your schedule?" He asks.

I hand it to him. "We have... first, third, and last period together" he says handing it back to me.

"Good, at least I kinda know someone" I say smiling, walking toward my class.

"You never told me your name" He says after a while, of walking.

"Oh Yeah sorry, it's Maddison but you can call me Maddie." I say.

As we arrive to our first period which was algebra, there's not many people yet. We sit next to each other, in the front row and he starts telling me about the the type of people at the school. "Okay so the preps are, Jessica, Emily, and Morgan. The guys it's just mainly Calum, and the king of assholes, Michael. You should stay away from him, or he'll try to get in your pants." He says chuckling. At the sound of Michael's name I freeze.

"You okay?" He asks.

I tell him the story of Michael and I and he says, "I'm sure it's not the Michael You're  talking about. This Michael is an asshole and only cares about getting in every girl's pants."

Even after he said that I couldn't help but think That maybe just maybe it was the Michael I was dating three years ago.

By the time lunch comes around I've made three friends, Not counting Luke. I met Ashton Irwin, a friend of Luke's. Ashton was really attractive im not gonna lie. He has these beautiful hazel eyes and gold colored curly hair. Oh and I can't forget about his dimples, they were deeper than an  ocean.

I also Met Samantha Peters. She was gorgeous. She was straight Brown hair and hazel eyes just like Ash, and her smile could brighten up any ones day.

Last but not least, Emma Johnson. She was beautiful, with straight blonde hair and  baby blue eyes.

At lunch we talk about just random stuff. I learned that Ashton's middle name was Fletcher and that Luke's was Robert.

At one point Jessica and her clones come over to our table and introduce herself as 'the queen of the school'. Not wanting to be rude I just smile.

Then Jessica starts talking about how beautiful she is and Emma, getting tired of her bragging just flat out says "Go away Jessica, we all know you got breast implants."

Jessica just glares at Emma and stocks off.

"She doesn't seem that bad, besides all the bragging" I say to them after she leaves.

"Are you crazy?!" Ashton practically shrieks. "Oh honey Once you get to know her you'll wish you never met her"

"One more period left and then we get to go home" I say To luke, who was walking beside me.

Once again we're one of the first ones to get there.

We found our selves talking about Tadpoles and turtles.

"Tadpoles are baby turtles" Luke says.

"No they're not, Tadpoles are baby frogs" I argue.

"No they're not" He says crossing his arms and pouting like a small child.

"Whatever you say Lukeypoo" I say poking his dimple with my finger.

Around 5 minutes before the bell rings someone opens the door.

"Nice of you to finally join us Mr. Clifford"

My head spins around and at the door I see Michael leaning against the door smirking.

When the bell rang I rushed over to Michael, but then he was gone. I open the door and look around, then I finnaly spot him making out with Jessica.

"Maddison!" My eyes sight starts to get blurry because of the tears when I hear Luke call my name since I assume he saw me run out of class.

At the sound of my name Michael Looks back and sees my face. His eyes are wide and shocked, he looks down at my wrist to make sure it's me, but before he has the chance to call my name I run out the school pushing people in the process.
