My Guy Adrien x Marinette

Marinette's PoVay

I looked around and could not find Adrien anywhere. I saw Alya and Nino talking and they both had their phones out. I walked up to them and they looked up at me. "Have you guys seen Adrien?" I asked them. "He left school. He was really upset and i could see him start to tear up." Nino said sadly. "Oh no." I said cupping my face with my hands. I took out my phone and starting texting Adrien.

Me: Adrien. Let me explain myself. Please.

I turned my phone off and sighed. I didn't want to hurt the both of them. This is just turning into a disaster. I knew i shouldn't have given them both a chance. I should have just focused on Adrien but of course i had to just screw it up. "Do you know why he is upset?" Alya asked me. I nodded looking down. "Well?" Nino asked me crossing his arms. "I made a mistake and dug myself a hole and now i can't get out of it." I said sadly. "But why is he upset? What was the mistake?" Alya asked sitting me down. "Luka texted me and asked me if i ever wanted to get to know each other and i accepted but i told him that i would tell him when i would be ready to get together and i accepted and told him that i would contact him when i was ready to get together and then he texted me early this morning before school that he would be waiting for me outside of class to talk." "Yeah i was wondering why Luka was outside our classroom but i never knew why." Alya said nodding. "Then Adrien saw Luka and i and he got upset. I did pull Luka to the side to tell him that i don't have those type of feelings for him and now everything is screwed up because Adrien saw him and now i feel super bad and i want to explain myself and it's all of my fault." I said putting my face into my hands. It was silent for a second. "Yeah. That makes more sense now. He looked very hurt." Nino said softly. "I know, i could see it in his eyes and i didn't want to hurt him because i care about him." I said sadly. My phone buzzed and i saw a text from Adrien. "Adrien texted back." I said quickly seeing what he said.

Adrien: I don't want to speak to you.

My heart sank as i read the text. "What is it?" Alya asked worried. I showed her my phone and didn't say anything. "I'm really sorry Marinette" She said rubbing my back. "Just give him time. Hopefully he will come around." She said encouraging. "Thanks" I said trying to smile. "He looked so happy during class. You should have seen his face. He was waiting for you to tell him how you felt and he wanted to tell you how he felt and. Then he saw you with Luka." Nino said looking at the floor. "I feel really bad for the guy" He said shortly. "And i feel really bad. He shouldn't have seen that. I wanted to tell Luka to not wait outside our classroom during class and then the teacher started the lesson and told me to put my phone away. So i never got a chance." I said looking down. "We get that. Marinette. But Adrien doesn't know what we know. So give him time to come around and if he wants space. Then you should respect his boundaries." Alya said. I nodded. "Yeah, you're right. Now i just wait." I said quietly. I looked at Adrien's text and sighed. "Well at LEAST i need to respond to this, i can't leave him on read or anything." I said typing.

Me: Ok, you don't have to. But i really need to talk to you and explain. I didn't want to hurt you in any way and I'm so sorry.

I turned off my phone and took a deep breath.

Adrien's PoV

I finally decided to look at what Marinette's text said.

Marinette: Adrien. Let me explain myself. Please.

I snorted and responded.

Me: I don't want to speak to you.

I turned off my phone and sat up. She has hurt me so bad. I should just let her be with that guy and move on and find myself someone. I go look at Instagram and look at all of the girls who follow me. I narrow them down to girls who live in the area and go to the same school. I see a specific name and smirk. Yeah. Let's see if she likes me being with her. I smirked and starting DMing her.

Me: Hey, would you like to go out some time?

I turned off my phone and smirked. My phone then buzzed and it was just a text from Marinette.

Marinette: Ok, you don't have to. But i really need to talk to you and explain. I didn't want to hurt you in any way and I'm so sorry.

Should i give her a chance to explain herself? I wondered. No i won't. She has hurt me far too many times and I'm not going to just wait on her. I left her on read and turned off my phone.

Marinette's PoV

I turn off my phone and sigh. "Are you ok Marinette?" Tikki asked me, while eating her cookie. "He left me on read. He doesn't want to talk to me. I just feel really bad and i want to tell him so bad that it wasn't what it seemed like." I said sadly. "I'm sorry if i changed you're mind about not texting Luka. Because now you did and you accepted and now things are kind of ruined with Adrien. I'm sorry." Tikki said. "It's not you're fault. It was my decision and now it's my fault that i ruined my chances with Adrien. I just really want to explain myself." I said burrowing my head into my pillow. "Well, you are exploring you're options and Adrien saw what was not meant to be seen. Don't beat yourself up about it so much Marinette. Now you just have to give him time to come around." Tikki said putting her hand on my shoulder.
