"Evie, be quiet. It's too early" Mikey gripped through his teeth. I laughed as I flopped down on his bed. "Mikey, just hurry up" I said.
Playing with my fingertips, I contiuned to laugh for no reason. "Are you high, or something because you are really annoying right now?" He asked as he went in his closest for a shirt.
"Or something. Blame you for not reminding me to get my bike. I wouldn't be here of you had" I shouted with my hands cupped around my mouth.
He groaned. "It's your bike. You should have remembered" he shot back. Before I could respond, the door flew open. I looked to see a upside down Trevor. "Could y'all shut up? It's too early" he asked.
"Get out, Rider. You didn't knock" I pointed for him to leave. He glared his eyes at me. "Don't call me that" he gritted through his teeth.
I laughed. "Ok, Rider. I won't call you that" I said being scarcitic. I love getting under people skin. He growled before slamming the door.
"Don't slam the door, dude" Mikey whispered under his breath. Why so quiet? "Stop slamming doors like you pay bills" I yelled.
I couldn't help but laugh at the fact I sounded like a guy. I can be very muscline if I wanted to. I just prefer being a regular girl though.
It makes it easier to annoy guys like now. They won't do anything. "So, Mikey, where are we going to eat during lunch?" I asked as I contiuned to pick my cubicles.
"It's Taco Tuesday. We have it once a month" he said as he put on a T-shirt. I turned on my stomach and lifted my feet. "Have you ever heard of southern-sushi Saturday?" I asked.
He looked at me in disgust. "What is that?" He questioned as he grabbed a black plaid shirt. I gasped as he put his arms in.
"It's me and dad's thing. We make the sushi first and we eat it while we make random southern food. We came with it when I came back from Japan. I told Dad he had to try sushi, so we went to this sushi shop. He loved it, but it didn't make him full and afterwards, we went to Popeyes. It was on a Saturday" I explained.
He looked at me as he buttoned his shirt. "Isn't sushi raw first?" He asked. I rolled my eyes as I sat on my legs. "Not all of it. Yoy can get it fried, baked, etc, but if you try it, don't think about the fact that it's raw. Think about the taste itself. Just like cocktail shrimp" I said.
"Oh, I love cocktail shrimp" he said. "Exactly. Cocktail shrimp is just shrimp cleaned and put in the fridge. I think anyway" I used hand gestures.
He knitted his eyebrows together as he tucked in his shirt. "But is it actually good? I have never even thought about eatting sushi, like, ever" he said.
I nodded as he fixed his collar. "Sushi was a healing food for me. I eat it when I'm stuck on one emotion too long. It clams me" I said as I clamped my fingers together and drew ny hand down.
The door swung open scaring us. I looked over with wide eye to see BJ. "Did you say sushi? I love sushi" he asked. I laughed.
"Bruh, you never even had sushi" Mikey said. BJ shock his head. "Yes, I have. When I dated Kira, and I had dinner with her family on her birthday. It was really good" he said.
I smiled. "Thank you. I'm stating over Friday because I'm making sushi for you, and I'll shove it down your throat if I have to" I said as I climbed off his bed.
"But the party is Friday" he said. I shrugged ny shoulders. "So. I'll bring my clothes after school. You're going to try sushi if it's the last thing I witness" I said.
