chapter 4

noen🌸✨: lol so hows ur fantasy girl doin.

noen knew that this small text would spark a whole debate, and maybe even an argument, but right now, he wasn't thinking straight. all that was in his mind was chase liking madison beer so much, that he took time out of his day to meet her. to hug her. to smile at her.

and noen was mad.

let's get serious for a second. noen knew chase and madison could never be a thing for a couple of reasons. number one being the age gap. it's only three years, but it could never work, especially because chase doesn't turn 18 for another year. but there was the one tiny thought lingering in the back of noen's mind: what if they did get together?

this was enough to make the blonde boy freeze. "noen, you okay?" benji asked, concern written all over his face as he watched noen go pale.

jeyjey furrowed his eyebrow and peeped over to look at noen's phone, wondering what made the boy stop so suddenly. the blonde boy blinked a few times and nodded and benji, his heart beating so fast he couldn't even process what benji asked.

the spaniard looked noen in the eyes before asking, "is it chase?", which made the blonde close his eyes and sigh, nodding his head yes.

jorge took noen's phone, inspecting chase's twitter and snapchat, rolling his eyes before passing the phone to his boyfriend.

"he wants to wife madison beer? wasn't he whining about his ex on twitter less than a week ago?" benji asked with a huff, tossing noen's phone on the couch as jeyjey let out a chuckle.

"i don't even care about that... what's so perfect about her? like yeah, she's stunning, but why is he so attracted to her?" noen left out the rest of the sentence, deciding to leave out the 'and not me' to make sure no one suspected anything.

jorge took his own phone out, opening twitter and deciding that he didn't like that noen was so upset over a boy.

@jeyjeygardi: imagine harassing a poor nice girl and degrading her to just looks🤫

though noen never liked the idea of confrontation, he managed to let out a small laugh reading jeyjey's tweet.

the spaniard's boyfriend seemed to catch on, because before you knew it, benji was tweeting too.

@benjikrol: never seen a more annoying pair of people in my life

"it's dumb. him and his annoying friends just making this poor girl about her looks." benji said with an eyeroll, putting his phone away and noen nodded.

yeah, he definitely agreed, but that wasn't really his main concern. what was so perfect about the madison beer?

chase💗: hey bubba who r ur friends tweeting about?

noen🌸✨: why do u care

noen🌸✨: arent u busy with ur girl🤭

chase💗: did i do something wrong i don't understand u sound mad .. and the tweets ?

noen🌸✨: i don't know man, aren't u meeting up with madison why are u worried about a tweet

"what the fuck do i say to that?" chase asked, running a stressed hand through his black hair, watching as jaden grimaced and anthony shrugged.

"who exactly does he think he is?" jaden questioned, an eyebrow raised in judgement.

chase groaned and read the text over and over again. when has noen ever called him man? he didn't like that, not one bit. he missed being called honey.

anthony rolled his eyes, "i don't know why this dude is so obsessed with you being with a girl, like is he gay or something? nothing wrong with that, just that's not normal for a friend." he said with a shrug.

"and then his friends subtweeting you? that's fucked." the tallest of the three said, blowing some of his hair out of his face casually.

"this is what you get for being nice to losers, chase." jaden mumbled with a huff, rolling his eyes when chase shook his head.

"he's not a loser. but... maybe i'll just talk about madison some more if it's such a problem for him." he said with his teeth clenched together, knuckles turning white in annoyance and anger.

who was noen to get mad at chase for liking madison beer. what was he, jealous or something? if jealousy is what noen wants, it's what he'll get.

"what, cause you like minecraft? who the fuck doesn't?" benji said with a scowl.

"you want me to say something? i will, i'll fucking do it noen." he said seriously, making jeyjey crack a small smile as he watched his boyfriend.

noen shook his head no, not wanting to start anything. "thanks, benji, but no. i just wanna leave this alone," he said softly, rubbing his head as he glanced over at the purple sweatshirt on the floor.

the two boys nodded, deciding to accept noen's wishes, but they still don't like what the boys said about noen.

the blonde got up and walked over to his bed, sweatshirt in hand, tossing it onto the floor and getting onto the mattress. he hated this. being mad at chase, being jealous, subtweets about him. he didn't want anything to do with chase right now, especially his sweatshirt.

after a few minutes of tossing and turning, noen decided that maybe sleeping with chase's sweatshirt wouldn't be the worst, just for one night. and as he slipped on the sweatshirt, he felt himself drift off to sleep.

chase, on the other hand, couldn't sleep. all he could think about was noen, his blonde hair, and his striking ocean eyes. god he missed him.
