Night - Woods

When Evie, Carlos, Dude, Ben, Anthony and Jay turned into statues, Mal and Malia were crying.

Malia started to sing. "Here you are alone, and you deserve it / Our friends have turned to stone or walked away, and that's on you." She walked over to the statue of Ben, looking at him sadly. "You had a cause to serve, but did you serve it?" Mal walked over to the statue of Anthony, looking at him sadly. "Or did you see yourselves in a way that wasn't true?"

Mal and Malia both held Anthony and Ben's hands for a moment, walking over to look at the statue of Jay.

Mal shook her head. "This isn't our father's fairytale / And no, it's not our mother's fault if we fail / So when our story comes to light, make sure that the story that they write."

Mal and Malia started to sing together. "Goes once upon a time, we tried harder / Once upon a time, we tried again / Once upon a braver choice, they took a risk, they used their voice / And that will be our once upon a time this time."

Mal and Malia walked over to kneel next to the statues of Carlos and Dude.

Malia shook her head in disappointment at both herself and Mal. "Why tell all those lies? / You feel unworthy / Like there isn't solid ground for you to stand." They both stood. "But a sacrifice is not a firm foundation / You cannot build a castle on a mountain made of sand."

Mal and Malia walked over to look at the statue of Evie sadly, both putting a hand on her.

Mal looked ready to cry again. "This is not our mother's dark desire / And no, it's not our father's hair on fire / Turns out it's us who's not awake."

Mal and Malia looked at each other, and then the ember in Malia's hand, walking off to go find Izzy, Yeva, Ara, Mari and Bane to try to make this right.

Yeva was looking for Celia, calling out for her. "Celia! Celia!" She looked down through her bag to look through her potions, finding the journey card and the ten of cups card that Celia was using to hint to her that Facilier was her father, singing more to the song that Mal had started. "So if there's change you wanna make, take... Goes once upon a time, they fought the dragon and the queens." She flashed back to when Izzy, Yeva, Mal, Malia, Evie, Jay, Carlos, Ara, Mari and Bane had faced down Maleficent, Yzma and Queen of Hearts, and Izzy, Yeva, Mal and Malia had stopped their mothers. "Once upon a time, those beasts were we." She flashed back to when Ara and Mari, in mermaid form, and Mal and Malia, in dragon form, were fighting with Uma and River, in octopus form, next to the cotillion yacht. "Once upon a misspent youth." She flashed back to the sword fight on Uma and River's ship, with the seven main VKs, Ara, Mari, Ben, Anthony and Bane all vs. Uma, River, Gaige, Harry, Gil and their crew, before Ara and Mari had gone mermaid to save Jay, Gaige and Gil from the shark. "They faced themselves / They spoke the truth." She flashed back to meeting Celia for the first time during Good to Be Bad, when they had put their arms around each other, walking off and singing together, before remembering the song that she and Celia had sang with Facilier. "That's how I see our once upon a time... this time!"

Yeva continued walking, nearly at a run to find Celia.

Izzy, Ara, Mari and Bane found Uma, River, Gaige and Harry, running up to them, calling out their names.

"Guys, stop," Ara told them. "Please stop. You know that we had no idea what Mal and Malia did, back in the past."

"Yeah, we do know that," Gaige answered. "But we can't change the past, and with Mal and Malia set on closing the barrier, not even Princess Ara and Mari, Prince Bane, Yeva and Izzy, Princess of Hearts/Diamonds, can save us from this this time."
