telling people harsh things
making them feel upset and disappointed.

as her words have offended them and have hurt them so much
they wouldn't have thought it would be a friend that would tell them that.
disappointed,
as the person that they thought would support and encourage them
had only brought their high spirits down
just because she was a little higher than them.
but she was just telling them the sad truth.
instead of the lies that wouldn't help them at all,
and improve themselves for a better outcome.
