The First Time~ Bughead

Part 5

* Jugheads POV *

When I woke up this morning from a worrying text from Betty i knew something was wrong and I knew Betty being Betty wouldn't tell me what's wrong over text so I decided I would get up and go to her.

J- hey baby just checking you are okay ill see you in a bit

B- im fine yeah see you at school xx

I quickly got up and rushed around to get ready in time to meet Betty, I got in my car and raced over to betty's trailer. When i got to Betty's trailer she was having some sort of panic attack over something that was worrying her. I rushed into her trailer and picked her up, I wrapped my arms around her so she knew she was safe when she started to calm down she showed me some text messages from some random person threatening my life. I didn't know what to think....

* Bettys POV *

I was suddenly in Jugs embrace rocking back and forth, im not even sure what happened or why I was having some kind of panic attack, i guess the thought of someone hurting juggie because of me, then lying to him about me being okay just got to me. When I had finally calmed down, I took out my phone and showed jug the messages a shocked but understandable expression crossed his face. Like he knew why I was in this mess on the floor but shocked that someone wanted to kill him which I got because I mean it's not everyday when you find out that someone random wants you dead.

* Pass time after school *

I decided to round up all the serpent that were my age so manly my closest friends and tell them what was going on

( B= betty, T= toni, S= sweet pea, F= fangs )

B- Serpents you're probably wondering why i asked you here to talk.... You know how we all protect each other well im asking for the protection of both me and Jughead.

S- WTF! Hell no i'm not protecting some northsider

T- i mean sweets has a point but yeah i'm down why may I ask?

F- umm i mean i love you betts but a northsider???

B- mine and jugheads lives are in danger (shows them the messages), please guys i need your help.

Eventually i got them to agree Jughead was now protected by the serpents.

* third person *

This helped Betty put her mind at ease knowing that jughead would be a little safer but it still played on mind who is this mystery person so the only this she could think of is going to the serpent queen before her, the longest lasting serpent, her mum.
