Second Place in the banner making contest! Angellover254 ---->
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was all going according to plan. I entered Faith into the skating contest and now all I had to do was get Trent there. He would see how amazing she truly is and then TAH DAH! They are together forever. Although Faith would hate me she would also be glad that I didn’t just go up and tell him right in front of her face. That would be like setting off a ticking time bomb, Faith isn’t the nicest person when you get her mad trust me.
I skipped down the hallways of the school, heading for the football field. Trent and his team had practice today which was good for me because I haven’t seen Faith all day; I didn’t have to explain why I was coming out here.
I stood at the end of the field and watched as Trent threw out orders and the boys started to tackle each other. I never really understood what was so great about football, I mean really all you have to do is avoid being tackled and run towards the goal thingy at the end of the field… You see why I am not popular; I am not a social person.
A scream sounded from the field and I turned my attention away from Trent and to a group of boys huddled in a circle. There on the floor laid a small boy under a boy who looked to weigh two times as much as the other. He was clutching his arm and tears spilled out of his eyes as everyone looked down at him in concern. I even felt a little bad for the guy and began to make my way over to the group.
Lightly shoving guys out of the way, I reached the young boy and gently grabbed felt his arm. Mumbling sounded around me as I continued to examine the damage. “Who are you?” A deep husky voice said from behind me.
“Move out of my way! Let me through!” The coach yelled shoving and blowing his whistle in the players’ ears. He looked around and then his eyes landed on me. “You’re not the physical trainer… where is he?”
No one answered his question, making his face turn red in anger. “I said WHERE IS HE!?” All at once they said he quit, which didn’t make the situation any better. “Where are we going to find a replacement for the physical trainer, at a time like this!?”
“He has broken his arm,” I suddenly said. I have grown up with a doctor as a mother, she has taught me all she has known just like Faith’s parents taught her all they known about skating. I put a tiny bit of pressure in small amounts of area’s trying to find exactly were the damage was mostly done at. He screamed out when I hit the area a little above his wrist. “Shhh its ok I am going to help you,” I whispered lightly in his ear.
“How do you know this?” The coach questioned, placing his hands on his hips.
