Suruchi and Nalini's father, Parameshwar enter the palace and were allowed to meet King and queen of Saurashtra. They bent down with respect when they saw King Dharmasena and Queen Kathyayini. King Dharmasena sees both of them and gets to thinking for a moment.
Suruchi interrupts him and asks, "Your Majesty, do you remember me"?
King Dharmasena reacts saying, "Of Course. You must be Suruchi. Where is your friend.. Umm.. Nalini right"?
"Yes your Majesty. I'm glad you remember us", replied Suruchi.
"How can I forget you both? You have saved my life", said the King.
"This is uncle Parameshwar, Nalini's father", introduces Suruchi.
Parameshwar greets the king by bending down. King says looking at him, "Is that so? Nice to see you both. Tell me, what brings you here"?
Suruchi slowly reveals everything about Nalini and how she is related with the princess being missing. Finally she says, "Looks like Nalini is planning something big now. We must stop her before it is too late".
Parameshwar adds, "Kindly forgive me respected King. My daughter caused you immense trouble and I'm ashamed to call her my daughter. I shall support you in whichever way you need me to capture my daughter and punish her". Parameshwar keeps his head down in shame.
King Dharmasena's face becomes pale and he turns to princess Madhavi and says, "My dear Madhu, I'm very sorry to not trust you. It was because of me you had to go through this mental trauma and shock for life. Can you forgive me?
Princess Madhavi says, "Oh it is fine father. Even you couldn't have guessed something like this would happen. Also, if not for this, I couldn't have met Madhusudhana".
Madhusudhana adds, "We must hurry. We can talk about us later. We must find out what Nalini is up to now".
Prince Ravikirana says, "Yes. I too shall come. She played with the life of Madhavi, made a fool of me, disrespected my love to the princess. I shall not spare her. She'll have to face the music now".
Queen Kathyayini was observing King Dharmasena being silent and in lot of pain. She asks, "My king, why don't you say something? I didn't know you were confronted by a women for rejecting her before marrying me. You never mentioned about her".
"I'm sorry my dear Queen, for not mentioning about her before. I just met her once in my life. I admit, she saved my life, but I understood a lot about her character in that single encounter. No where on earth could I have married her and caused nightmare to my family and my people. I could never imagine she would go to this extent to cause us trouble".
The minister comes running along with some of the servants to the king and says, "Your Majesty, something wrong has happened in our city. People got to know that princess has returned to the palace and large groups of people are gathering close to palace shouting slogans against princess and doing strike".
"What? How did people get to know princess returned in such a short time? Even if they knew, they should be happy that their princess is back. Why are they doing strike? What are they angry about"? Inquired the king.
"Your Majesty, People are thinking that the princess has brought bad luck for them. As per them, it is because of princess that they lost lives and property during floods and famine. They fear if the princess stays in Saurashtra, they might have to face much harder days in the future", said the minister.
Madhusudhana asks, "Suruchi and Parameshwar, do you know if Nalini's hand is there in this new issue also"?
Suruchi says, "I'm not sure. But I saw her leaving the house hurriedly in the morning. Uncle, is there any way you can find that out"?
Parameshwar closes his eyes and goes to subconscious state and meditates for a while. He sees his daughter Nalini plotting against King Dharmasena and princess Madhavi. She corrupts the minds of innocent people of Saurashtra and instigates them against the princess. Later she was planning to conspire with the neighbouring kingdom, Marwar, to conquer Saurashtra and there by killing King Dharmasena and Princess Madhavi.
Parameshwar opens his eyes and remains in a shock for a while. Everyone was waiting anxiously for Parameshwar to speak. He then says with tears in his eyes, "As expected, my daughter is responsible for yet another commotion in our city. Just not this, she wants to use this vulnerable period to cause an attack by our neighbouring Marwar kingdom on us, so that in the battle King Dharmasena and princess Madhavi would die".
Madhusudhana angrily said, "What does she think of herself? We are still alive. We will fight till our last breadth to save our King and kingdom".
The palace staff who were present at the room shouted by raising their swords indicating their readiness to face the war, "Long live Saurashtra, Long Live King Dharmasena".
King Dharmasena said, "My dear people, please calm down. Suruchi, Parameshwar, thanks for your concern on our Saurashtra. I'll always remember your timely help. Parameshwar, can you do us one more favour"?
Parameshwar said, "It is my duty respected King. Please tell how can I help you"?
King Dharmasena said, "With your power, can you let us know where exactly is Nalini now"?
