   It feels good to finally lay down and chill for once without Sarah on me. Navina knows she can cook. These baked beans, fried chicken, and spaghetti is too fye. But I should be at home with my wife...eating her cooking and cuddling. But she's not with that now. Something is up with her. She keeps blaming me for stuff; accusing me of cheating but she's always gone. Sneaking around. If she was real she wouldn't need to do that. She should just be honest with me. I would hate to find out she's cheating. She has my heart but I'm slowly falling out of love with her. All this arguing has made me realize that maybe the past 12 years have been a mistake, a lie. "Kris?" Navina asks snapping my out of my thoughts. "Yea..wassup?" I ask her. She just looks at me then says "You seem a little...off. is something wrong? You haven't been yourself and I'm a little worried."

"Navina...so much is going on with me and Sarah. The past 12 years have been great but now things are changing rapidly. She's angrier. She hits, pushes, and taunts me all the time. I try not to hit her back because I respect women and I would never touch them unless it's a life or death situation. But I'm scared of losing my wife....I need help Navina."

"Kris...something is wrong....Sarah has always been a loving person. The way you are describing her doesn't sound like her at all."

"Maybe because that isn't her. But she's changed and I don't understand or know why."

"She's pregnant Kris.."

"No she isn't...she can't be." I say looking at her.

"Kris yes she is. Everything you're describing..The mood swings..The random violence....her just being crazy. All signs of early pregnancy."

"Oh....I don't what to say."

"Haha Kris that's fine. You weren't expecting this. Just ask her to take a pregnancy test and if she is then there's your answer."

I nod my head agreeing with her. Sarah was acting like this the first two times she got pregnant. I'll take Navina's advice and see what's up with Sarah.

   I stand up and tell Navina that I'm heading out. As I'm walking to the door I feel someone grab my butt. I turn around to see Navina smiling at me. "I'm sorry, something was on you." She says with a wink. Oh no...it's time to go. "Well bye Vina!" I say as I quickly grab the door and head to my truck. I pull out my keys just in time for her brother Navon to pull up. I wasn't in the mood for more talking so I just hopped in the truck and go. I turn the radio up as Cut Her Off starts to play. I Bob my head and sing along with the music. I'm going to get Sarah a pregnancy test but not today. I really don't feel like it.

   On my back home I see a bunch of police cars around that girl Sissy's house. Oh god Maree what did you do now? I pull off to the side of the road and step out of the truck. I walk over to one of the officers and ask him what's going on. "Oh there was a shooting. Looks like a drive by. 18 year old girl was found dead on her couch. Bullet right between her eyes." "Do you know who the girl was officer?" I ask him in a concerned tone. He looks down at his papers and replies "Uh a...Sissy Moore." No...Navina's niece...dang. I shake my and turn around heading for my truck. This night just gets better and better huh...Maree's gonna be messed up by this. I don't even know how I'll tell Navina. Man I just need something to take my mind off things....This is too much.
