I left that little pathetic town as soon as u packed my bags the next day. I didn't care what they all said. I could hear their whispers as I walked by to the nearest train station. "He couldn't wait to get rid of her," one man said. "Just like his father, a useless bastard" a woman said. By the time I reached the train station, I've already had enough. If one more person says -- I got interrupted in my thoughts when I heard; "that son of a bitch, couldn't even stay a little longer, just like his father I'm telling you, he won't even bother bury her. I hope he dies on -" this time, I interrupted him. SMACK! I hit him right on the nose.
"Shut the fuck up, you don't even know me, not her. You don't even know the shit we've gone through! Where were you when he abused us and used us for the money we made? Where were you when he let us starve locked up in that tiny house, where were you when he died and I had to rebuild our house all on my own. I WAS 15 YEARS OLD FOR GOD'S SAKE! Where the fuck were you when I had to work night and day?! YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN HIM, SO SHUT YOUR MOUTH BEFORE I SHUT IT FOR YOU! " I screamed out with all my might.
I could see his eyes widen and the women around me running away, but I that just made me more mad.
"OH SO NOW YOURE FREAKIN SCARED? HAH A BUNCH OF COWARDS, I ALWAYS KNEW. NOW DON'T EVEN BOTHER GOING NEAR HER GRAVE." I yelled. After taking a few deep breaths I calmed down and I said in the coldest voice ever, "yes, I buried her body with my own hands, because I am no coward like you, nor, her husband." With that, I left that pathetic town of cowards and focused on what was coming ahead.
I hoped on that train and sat on the first empty seat I saw. Then, I saw her. The most beautiful girl I ever laid eyes on.
