An Uneventful Ice Cream Trip

Asami's POV

As we strolled out of the house, Wataru pouted at me, fully realizing that Tsubaki wass coming with us. 

"Asami-nee?"

"Yeah?" I asked, curious to know what was bothering him.

"Why does Tsu-nii have to come with us...? I thought it was just going to be you and me..."

Panicking, I turned to Tsubaki for help. 

"Umm... Tsubaki, why don't you answer that?" I asked him, also curious to know he insisted on bothering me. Before he could answer, a certain redhead decided to appear out of the blue. 

"Oh... It's you," he said. "Is Ema with you guys?" 

"No, she's actually visiting with a friend today," I said, a little miffed that it was "only me"... clearly I'm not special enough or something. Visibly relieved and yet also a little disappointed, he sighed.

"Oh, okay."

Yikes, I thought. Poor guy; knowing Ema, she'll never figure out that he has feelings for her unless he tells her outright, and even then she might not understand... she can be so oblivious sometimes...

Yuusuke's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Where are you guys going?"

"To go get ice cream! Asami-chan said she'd take me with her!" Wataru exclaimed cheerfully. 

"But why is Tsubaki-nii going with you two?" Yuusuke questioned, confused and a little suspicious.

"Ahh... well..." Tsubaki said, trying to figure out how to explain. "I didn't want to leave my poor imouto-chan and otouto-chan out alone in the wilderness. You wouldn't, either. Right?"

"But we're not going into the wilderness, Tsubaki-san," I pushed on. "Right, Wataru? We're only going to the ice cream shop!"

"Uh huh," the boy nodded his head. "Yeah, Tsu-nii. Why'd you have to come bother us?"

Before Tsubaki could answer (again), Yuusuke interrupted.

"Honestly, I don't really care why. I'm going back home." The boy then turned around and stalked off, hands thrusted into his pockets.

"Well then."

As we continued on our "journey", as Tsubaki put it, I heard footsteps behind us. 

"Wait for me!" A certain boy called out. 

I raised an eyebrow at the said boy. 

"I thought you were going back home, Yuusuke. What're you doing now?" He sighed

"Kyo-nii said to go with you guys so that we can have more 'family bonding time'."

"Well," I spit, pissed off at his rude behaviour. "I'm sorry you have to spend it with me," I say, annoyed. All three of the boys look at me, surprised by my sudden change in mood.

"Whaa—" He exclaimed, frantically trying to prevent me from getting the wrong idea. "That's not it at all!" He continued to yell. By now, all I want is for him to STOP IT so I can think again.

"Yuusuke, just stop. Please," I pleaded to him.

"Oh..." he blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry..."
