Asami's POV
The obnoxious beeping of my alarm woke me up.
"Ugh," I sighed. "I hate mornings. Let me sleeeeeeep, Alarmy." (Don't judge I named my alarm clock~)
Figuring I could let my tired eyes rest a little longer, I fell back into bed, once again enveloped by the soft, warm feeling of sleep. Sleeping is DEFINITELY one of my favourite things about life. After ramen, of course.

"AAAAASSSSSAAAAAAA-NEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" Someone screamed. "GEEEEEETTTT UUUUUUPPP!!!!!"
Oh Gosh. I had forgotten. The dreaded word.
School.
Glaring at my alarm clock for not waking me up on time (but he did!), I scrambled out of bed, realising that I had slept for, instead of five minutes, FIFTY minutes. Well... there was clearly no time to shower. Throwing on the school uniform, I flew into the kitchen, out of breath, looking like a complete mess.
"...Hi?"
Crickets chirruped.
Ema was the first to speak.
"Asa-nee! Want some breakfast? When you're done, Iori-nii said he'd walk with you."
"Iori-kun?" I asked, surprised. Then again, he did go to the same school as me, so it would make sense to walk with him. As if on cue, he sauntered through the door, flashing me another of his signature princely smiles.
"Hello, Asami-chan." He assessed my attire, looking me up and down. "You look..."
"Like a mess?" I finished for him, knowing what he was thinking. I sighed.
"Actually, I was going to say that your shirt looks nice on you," he retorted.
"Ohh..." I flushed, embarrassed that he actually thought that and that I'd automatically jumped to conclusions. Unless he was lying, of course. But Iori didn't seem the type to do that. "Well... thanks, I guess," I said, scratching the back of my neck. Suddenly, the floor seemed very interesting. Could he...? Nah... there's so many other girls that are a lot nicer and prettier than me. There's no way anyone could like me...
"Here's your breakfast!" Ema's shout knocked me away from my thoughts. Apparently, she'd gone through all the trouble of getting me food and all, and even though I wasn't really all that hungry, I still scarfed it down.
"Look who's up early," Tsubaki teased from wherever he was, looking at the completely red boy walking into the room. "Usually," he turned to us. "Yuusuke gets up way later. I wonder if..." he tapped his chin. "He has some new... incentive... to get up?"
Yuusuke looked about ready to explode, while his brother just laughed at his expected reaction. "WHAA—" He yelled, looking back and forth between Ema and his brother furiously. "THA—THAT'S NOT TRUE AT ALL! I'M JUST... NOT TIRED! YEAH! THAT'S IT!" I sighed, shaking my head.
