a/n: I hope y'all like this!
I looked down at my feet, god why was the sun so damn bright? My date was tomorrow and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Would this guy be cute? Would he be smart? But mostly could he possibly be my new boyfriend?
Only four more days until my date and only four more days until school is over for the week. yay life.
“Jess, Jess, Jess” Eva called out running towards me. “Could you be anymore embarrassing?” I said.
“You know you love me.” said Eva. “Did you find out when your blind date is?” I asked Eva.
“Yes it’s on Saturday." said Eva. All of a sudden Eva started jumping up and down
“Oh my gosh we need to get you a new outfit for your date.”
“Why? What’s wrong with skinny jeans and a T-shirt?” I asked looking down at my clothes.”First of all it’s a date not a trip to get some fro-yo, and second you have never been on a date or had a boyfriend so we want to make you look gorgeous.”
“Ok do whatever.” I said.
Later that day Eva and I were at the the mall.
“Can we go eat first?’ I said. “Fine.” Eva replied. So we started heading towards the little shops. The mall was so crowded because it was getting close to the holiday season. As I was trying to get through all the people I bumped into someone. I glanced up and stared into some familiar blue eyes.
“Going somewhere?” the voice asked. Of course Cody was here.
“Yes, yes I am. I’m going to get a new outfit for a date.”
Cody laughed “Haha you’re going on a date?”
“Yes I’m not that much of a loner.” i said
Yeah you are, you only have one friend name Evie.”
“It’s Eva.” Eva snapped at him.
“Same thing.” he sneered.
“Whatever, well I have better things to do than talk to you.” I said.
“Aww that hurt my feelings.” he said in a baby voice.
“Aww I don’t care.” I said back. I turned around and started to walk away.
“Wait.” he said and grabbed my arm. “What?” I snapped at him. “When do you want to meet for the project?” I thought for a moment “Umm tomorrow after school my house.”
“I’ll be there.” he said flirtatiously then winked at me. I just scoffed and walked away with Eva following. “What was that about?” she asked. “I’m not really sure.” I answered suspiciously.
We walked past about five stores before Eva called out “Oooh! That one! Let’s go in there!” We entered this store I’ve never heard of and she started to pick out dresses for me to wear on the date.
“This one, no this one, wait but this one’s pretty too, SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM!” she softly yelled. Eva came back to me with what looked like 12 dresses and told me to try them on. I sighed as I headed to the dressing room. After a bunch of no’s and maybe’s from her I stepped out of the stall and Eva gasped.
“That's definitely the one!” she squealed. “Alright I’m trusting you on this one.” I said unsure. We bought the dress and then Eva told me that I needed shoes also. “So many things that I need” I thought to myself. She dragged me into this shoe store and we picked out a good pair.
