"I'm Lisa."

"Jennie."

"Well Jennie, it's nice to meet you, let me get to the point, your bike is in critical condition, it needs a paint job, if you would like of course, lubricated chains and, uh, oh yeah, a whole new engine."

Lisa was also wearing one of the jumpers and her's looked a little more dirtier, like it hasn't been washed, for weeks.

"I'm sorry, can you write that down? It's not mine and I need my brother-"

"No problem, pretty lady." Lisa walked back to a desk and wrote down on a sticky note. Jennie followed.

"Here you go." Lisa smiled to her again.

A rush of adrenaline flowed to Jennie's stomach and it wasn't the cause of stress, that smile just took her over.

"Thanks, when can I expect to get the bike back?" Jennie questioned.

"Well, since a new engine is in need, I'll have to order parts for that, so I'm guessing a few days maybe, but don't expect it, it might take up to a week for it to be delivered."

"Okay, uhm, do I need to give my information, like my number, just in case it's delivered and fixed early."

"For sure, I thought you would have written down your information by now." Lisa asked the clerk for a paper. "Just fill this out, I'm going to start on the bike now"

Lisa registered to the back of the shop with her thumbs backwards.

"Alright, thank you."

"No problem, once you got it filled out, the receipt will be sent to you or whoever you got on this, don't forget to write down the plate number."

Jennie looked down and saw the blank spot.

"I actually don't know the plate number can I go to the back and check it out?"

"We normally have our 'no customers in the back,' policy, but I can make an exception for you, pretty lady."

Jennie looked up to Lisa, she had her back to her and walked to the back already. Good thing because Jennie felt blood rush to her cheeks. She took the paper she had in hand and fanned it to her cheeks. She walked back with Lisa.

"Care to explain how this baby got screwed?" Lisa asked as she patted the bike's seat.

"Well what happened was-"

"Those words never have a good ending."

Jennie laughed at that.

"True, I'm not gonna deny that. My brother was carrying me on this bike and well I kinda got scared and I lost my balance. It tipped over." Jennie explained.

"Rule number one of riding with passengers on a bike, don't have a passenger." Lisa pointed with her forefinger which made Jennie chuckled.

"Also, I don't think it just tipped over, I mean, the engine has a hole."

Jennie widened her eyes.

"I didn't notice that."

"So you got the plate number?"

"Yeah, so I'll see you when this is fixed."

"Don't miss me too much, it'll only be a week."

"Who says I'll miss you?" Jennie scoffed.

"Only time will tell." Lisa tapped her wrist as if she had a watch.

Jennie looked back at Lisa one last time and saw she was waving at her, she waved back and quickly went to the front because Lisa gave her a smile again.

"Only time will tell." Jennie repeated Lisa's words.
