Bonds (Bakugo x Reader x Todoroki)

Chapter 8

3rd Person POV

"Your indoor combat training.. is over." All Might said through the speakers. "The hero team.. WINS!!"

Everyone was shocked, and concerned on (Y/n)'s injuries.

"What a weird way for this to end."

"How does the old saying go? They may have lost the battle, but they won the war." Tokoyami commented.

"This class is intense." Tsuyu said.

Two robots pulled (Y/n) out on a stretcher.

"To the nurse's office."

"I know~"

"Will she be alright?" Todoroki asked as he walked up to All Might and Sasuke.

"She'll be fine." Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

"Yes, she will. But I'm a little concern on how your friend, Young Bakugo, is holding up." All Might said and they all turned their attention to Bakugo who was shaking. "Young Uchiha, go with your sister, young Todoroki go with the others so we can discuss this training later."

"My attacks... (Y/n) predicted them. She made me look like an idiot! Somehow managed to win the exercise. Does this mean that if we've really fought, if we didn't hold back at all, (Y/n)... would beat me with her quirk?" Bakugo thought to himself as he started hyperventilating.

"Young Bakugo, cool your jets. Let's go review your work. Whether you win or lose, you can always take something away from an experience like this as long as you're open to learn." All Might said as he put his hand on Bakugo's shoulder to calm him down.

"Well, despite the results, the MVP of this exercise is Young Todoroki." All Might said.

"Huh?" A few questioned.

"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes instead since they're the winners?" Tsuyu asked.

"Mm, valid question. Why didn't I choose one of those two? Who has a guess?" All Might asked around.

"Sir, I can tell you why." Momo said, raising her hand. "Todoroki embraced this challenge. He was the only one who truly adapted to his assigned role. I'll explain; Bakugo's judgement was clouded by a personal grudge against (Y/n). As you pointed out earlier, launching a large scale attack indoors was a foolish move. It could of been disastrous. Similarly, (Y/n)'s plan was somewhat poorly thought out. Considering the amount of damaged she received for not wanting to use her quirk against Bakugo and taking all the hits he would throw at her. As for Sasuke, not wanting to use his quirk as well against Todoroki due to his sister's feelings for her childhood friends. Todoroki was fully prepared for his opponent's arrival. He had a strategy and never lost sight of the mission to protect the dummy weapon. Even if he was foiled at the end. Technically, the hero team won, yes, but they took advantage of the fact that this was training. They didn't respect the spirit of the tribe."

"This girl really has a good eye on her.." All Might thought.

"Yes, well, you overlooked a few things. Young Todoroki could of relaxed a little bit in the exercise. But, otherwise you nailed it!" All Might gave Momo a thumbs up.
