*Carter's POV*

"Hey, wait up!", I heard a male voice call after me. I turned my head to see a familiar face running after me. It was Calum Hood. "Would you like to, maybe go out for dinner tonight?", he asked me. "Okay", is all I said. He handed me his phone open to 'new contact' and I put my number in.

After about an hour of sitting back at the hotel, doing nothing but scroll through Tumblr, my phone went off. It was a text message from an unfamiliar number.

U/k: Hey is this Carter?

Me: Yes, and this is?

U/k: Calum

Me: Oh, hey. What's up?

Calum: Could you meet me in Central Park?

Me: Sure, I'll be there in an hour.

Calum: Sounds good.

Why was I going to wear? I was going on an unofficial date with Calum Hood. Most girls would do nearly anything to be in my position right now. Why am I not that exited? I decided on wearing a black and purple sweater, since for some reason, it's Winter here. With that, I wore my black leggings and my light colored, tall Uggs that came almost to my knees. My hair was still in loose curls from the concert. I had the limousine pick me up, and I was on my way to Central Park.

Calum was already waiting when I arrived. He was alone, so the rest of the boys stayed home. I wonder what he even wanted with a girl like me. I'm not exactly what you'd call pretty. I don't cake make-up on my face. My hair doesn't reach my butt. I don't have DD sized boobs. I'm not what he wanted. Calum was wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a grey coat over a Nirvana tee-shirt. He approached me quite plainly with a shy smile on his face.

"Hello, love", he greeted me.

"Hi", I said awkwardly.

"You look nice", he complimented.

"Thanks", I said as I looked away.

"Let's take a walk", he offered. I don't respond and we took off walking. "So, what do you want with a boring, imperfect, emotionless teenager like me?" I questioned, staring at the ground. He started to reply, "Well..."
