*Michael's POV*

Calum actually went on a date with her. I saw her first. He almost ruined a show over her, and I don't even get a chance? It just doesn't seem right. He has been going on about how great she is since he got home and I'm ready to smother him with a pillow. When I finally couldn't take anymore I went to my room in the hotel, and shut the door. I put my headphones in and turned up it up all the way. The song Wake Me Up When September Ends by my favorite band, Green Day is blaring in my ears as I lay down with my eyes closed thinking about her. I wake up crying. I had a nightmare. The same nightmare I always have. I glance at the clock and it's four in the morning. I guess I'll get up. I walk to the living room, turn the tv on and re-watch the first season of American Horror Story on Netflix. For a hotel suite, this is huge. All four of us get our own rooms, there are one and a half bathrooms, a living room, a full kitchen, and a balcony with a great overlook view of the city.

At about seven I decide to venture around the hotel that I will be staying in until Saturday. It is now Monday. What am I going to do for five days? I wonder how long she's going to be here. She said her name was Carter. I wonder if Carter is also awake, walking around the hotel. Probably not. While walking around, I discover that the hotel has an indoor pool, a hot tub, a gym, and an arcade. When I find my way back to the room, it is eight fifteen, and the boys are still asleep. I lay back down on the couch and resume my show, but I can't seem to pay any attention to my favorite show. My mind can't stop wandering to her. To Carter. Her perfect chocolate brown and blue curls. Her crystal blue eyes. Her gorgeously pale skin. She has an accent. It was an Australian accent. One that I knew well from my hometown, Sydney. I wonder where exactly she lives. I need to see her again. I need to have a conversation with this girl. I am determined to get to know Carter. To know her past. To know why she dresses so dark. To know what was underneath her bracelets. To know why she colored her hair and pierced her skin. I even want to know the little things. I was to know what her favorite color is. Her favorite band. Tv show. Drink. I will know this girl. I will know Carter better than anyone has, I am sure of it.
