"I can't believe they have a marketplace on campus!" Kira exclaimed. "Yeah, they have everything here." I giggled. Kira and I walked into a store called SilverCraft's Wands & Amulets. "Hi, we'd like to buy a wand." I asked. At the counter there was an old woman, she didn't reply, perhaps she was mute? She waved her hand and we followed her. We walked down a the steps into what seemed to be a basement. "Where are we going?" Kira asked nervously, holding onto my robe. The old lady moved the vines covering the doorway revealing an incredible fountain in the middle of a jungle. "Woah... how is this possible?" I gasped in amazement. Maybe it was an illusion? This is a magic school after all, maybe it was real and we were in a jungle. The old lady stood by the fountain. I walked up to it and looked into the water. The water rippled revealing a beautiful spiral wand. "Is this mine..?" I asked. She nodded. I took the wand out of the water. It felt perfect, the weight, the grip, all perfect. I waved the wand at the sky. Kira walked up to the fountain after. Out came a flowery jewelled wand. She picked it up and waved it. "Eeep! I love it!" She squealed. The old lady smiled and walked back into the store. We followed her up. "Thank you!" Kira and I cheered. We left the shop examining each other's wands. "This is gonna be so much fun!" Kira squealed. We walked up the street and up some stairs. There was a small plaza with a tree in the centre. To the left of it there was the Earth school. "So that's the Earth school classroom?" I asked. "Yup, that's it alright!" Kira replied. Kubo flew up into the tree and grabbed a purple apple from the tree. "Kubo!" Kira giggled. We walked down an alleyway and into the dormitory. There was a list in the lobby showing who's going to be with who in their dorm. I was with Kira and Sarah SpiritCaster, the only one who got Spirit. "There's three of us? I hope it's a big room!" Kira exclaimed. We walked up the creaky widen stairs and into the hallway. Written in the dorm room doors said the names. Sarah, Kira, Amelia. We slowly opened the door and walked inside the room. "H-Hello?" I called out. It was pitch black. The curtains quickly opened. "KYAAH!" Kira yelped. "Oh, sorry..." The girl apologised. "I like the dark." There stood a pale girl, she had pitch black hair and gray eyes, just like the moon. "H-Hey! Looks like we're roommates." I said. "Yeah..." she said awkwardly. It was quite a big room, there was a bunk bed and a single bed. "I already called dibs on the single bed, the bunk bed is yours." She said in a dull voice. I threw my bag on the bed and unpacked my stuff. There were two desks, looks like two of us will have to share. I put my letter from father into the drawer. "Kubo, catch!" I said, throwing him an allocado. He flew and caught it in his mouth. "So, Sarah, where are you from?" I asked. "Dragonspyre..." She replied in an unbothered voice. "D-Dragonspyre?" Kira asked in a shocked voice. "Mhm." Sarah mumbled. "Why aren't you in Dragonspyre Academy?" Kira asked. "Don't you know? That academy is for Ember wizards only." She mumbled. I continued unpacking my stuff. I opened the balcony doors and looked out into the distance. The academy is huge! Even after that there's thousands of houses and markets. The sun is starting to set so I get ready for bed. "Yaaaawn... I'm tired." Kira yawned. "Same here." I replied, rubbing my eyes. I got up super early today and I'm ready for a good nights sleep. "Suit yourselves. I'm not sleeping just yet." Sarah mumbled. "Alright, just don't stay up too late!-" Kira said getting cut off by Sarah. "I know 'Mom' ugh." She muttered, rolling her eyes. "Nrrgh." Kira grunted. "Hey, goodnight." I said. "Night night!.." Kira replied.
