"Aaah!" I screamed. I woke up to Kubo drooling over my face. "Wha? What happened!" Kira cried, jumping out of her bed and hitting her head on the ceiling. "Kubo!" I growled. Kubo let out a snicker and tapped Kira on the head. "Owww... My head." Kira mumbled, rubbing her head. I looked over at Sarah's bed but she was nowhere to be seen. I got up and opened the curtains. "Ah, that's bright - where's Sarah?" Kira asked, blocking the morning sun out of her eyes. "I don't know, maybe she left already." I replied. I got my school clothes out of my dresser and headed into the bathroom to get ready. "I wonder what we'll be doing today!" Kira beamed while throwing an allocado to Kubo. "We should get going, don't wanna be late again haha." I giggled. Kira and I left our dorm room and walked downstairs into the foyer where the students could do studying or just to hang out. We exited the building and walked to the library where the other new students were waiting. "I think that's everyone." Mrs. Dowager whispered to herself. We sat at one of the tables in the library and listened to we were going to do today. "Welcome everyone I hope you all had a good nights sleep! Today you'll be handed out your list of classes for this semester." She explained. Mrs. Dowager waved her wand and the stack of sheets flew around the grand library landing into the students hands. "Each morning you'll go to your schools classroom where you will be taught your first lesson - there'll be plenty of quests to do through the year, so don't get worried about just doing regular lessons." Mrs. Dowager added. I looked over across the room to see Sarah sitting on a chair reading a book, it looks like she isn't even listening. "That will be all! Your first lesson starts at seven o'clock!" Once again she disappeared into thin air. I walked over to Sarah, trying not to bump into anyone. "Sar-" Sarah was gone once again, how is this even possible? "Weird." Kira added. We left the library and walked to the School of Earth. I opened the classrooms doors, at first I thought I had entered a forest. The room was so full of life, vines were growing up the pillars at the back, the floor was mostly grassy, and flowers were spread throughout. "Woah..." Kira and I gasped at the same time. We sat down at the circular desk and waited for the professor to arrive. It wasn't just us new students there, there were also students from higher grades. The doors to the classroom slowly opened and out came the professor. He walked over to his podium and cleared his throat. He was a human with dark brown hair and bright glaring green eyes. "Welcome, new students, to the School of Earth. I am professor Droors... Chester Droors." He explained. Some of the students starting quietly giggling. "Yes I know, very funny." He laughed sarcastically. "Because my school is that of the Earth, I find it stifling to teach inside, so I lecture outside whenever possible." He explained. "Other schools teach flights of fancy or arcane manipulation of ethereal flummery, but Earth magic is the magic of the real." He explained while making a vine grow out of his wand.
