There was a point in time when Dr. Rhend Prac worked well with other brilliant minds from different fields of science. Year 3594, twenty-one-year-old Rhend Prac having been the youngest neurological scientist in the history of mankind and his team was desperate at the moment to succeed in their current endeavor: the cryogenic bed. The idea of the endeavor is to halt someone's biological activity like breathing and bodily degradation typically stopping aging. This might have been the answer to cure Emily, Rhend Prac's little sister. Emily at that time was suffering from "hypochronisia" a rare disease where an individual experiences an unusually fast rate of aging. Even at this late of the 35th century, no cure has been found for the disease. Months have passed but the bed is far from complete. Cryogenesis was a success and indeed they have stopped aging using lab rats as guinea pigs but the problem lies in dicryogenesation. When the lab rats are removed from the bed to restart their biological activity, the body goes into shock after several minutes due to increased heart rate. The increased heart rate was triggered because of a sudden increase in oxygen requirement to the brain for some reason. As they studied further, the reason was: during the dicryogenesation process, the brain is flooded with neuro-electrical pulses which are basically emotions from the hypothalamus thus putting the brain into strain when the synapses cant cope with the processing of information. If only there was a way to control emotions even temporarily. One morning when the team was still figuring out how to smash the big wall in front of them, a piece of heartbreaking news came to dim that day: Emily was already gone. Rhend Prac who was seen as a strong, brilliant person and never showed a weak side for the first time shed a tear in front of his team. Months passed and Rhend Prac still can't accept the fact that his sister had already passed away. He plunged himself into deep thought ever since engraving this phrase to his head: If only I was able to find a way to control emotions. This sunk deep within him corrupting his whole being. His team could understand his grief but couldn't take anymore the blame and being looked down upon so they had no choice but to leave the team. Rhend Prac didn't stop them for he thinks he is better of without them. That was the time when he started to work alone. Christmas of 3599, the 35th century is ending and Dr. Rhend Prac finally did it: finding a way to control emotions, pracyon particles. It was a start of a new century where emotions can be manipulated. It made him very famous and the fame swallowed him up that time that he even forgot what was its purpose. He only opened his eyes when his discovery already seeped deep into the society of the 36th century inviting chaos. He was no longer human and even if he runs from it he was already late for two things: he's 6 years late from saving his sister and a lifetime late from preventing himself from becoming a monster having opened Pandora's box and tapping into the handwriting of Gods.
