Chapter 4: See ya!

James and Adam were sitting there, akwardly, Adam was still messed up from the event that just happened, still very confused of how he felt.

James wasn't paying attention, he was getting very focused on the screen, James munched on his chips and with no care in the world, he laughed at the 'Comedy' he was watching.

He doesn't have that much of a high standard for shows and movies, whatever on the screen he'll watch it.

James looked over at Adam to see how he's enjoying the TV show, Adam was...classic, as always.

James smiled to himself.

"What's so funny bud?"

Adam asked in a half-laughing tone, questioning whether he did something funny.

"O-oh, nothing Adam."

James stuttered just making himself seems more suspicious, he knows, but it was too late to patch it up.

"Are you sure?"

Adam cooed, pulling the 'sure' long enough to mess his friend up.

"Very funny."

James said, it was blain but it enrolled perfectly into the conversation.

"Haha!"

Adam laughed and pat James's back, Adam then shivered, the nervousness then suddenly came back to him.

"Woah, you ok?"

Adam nodded and hugged himself.

"Still nervous about the whole surgery thing..."

It's his first time so James can understand, and comfort Adam as much as he could.

After all.

Who will cheer him up when Adam's gone?

"It's fine, relax."

James mumbled loud enough for both, Adam then nodded at the statement and do as James command.

"You're right...there's nothing to be worried about!"

Adam cheered as he felt more relief.

Adam lay back.

"What to do now..."

He was playing with the strings of his bright red hoodie, mumbling the words.

"You got any video games?"

James asked.

"We could continue where we left off last time."

James offered and got a nod.

"30 minutes more, I'll win you again"

Adam grinned evilly as he reached to turn on the console and insert the video game.

While James was sitting there, controller in-hand looking at his friend preparing for a battle while not getting his butt up.

"Stand up will you?"

James snickered.

"Nah hehe"

Adam giggled and then sits back next to James, gripped his controller, oh he was SO ready.

As soon as they entered the arena.

"TAKE THAT!"

Adam immediately sucker punched James.

"Wha-Hey! CHEATER!"

James shouted in rage while Adam was bursting with laughter.

"You're just slow haha!"

And the times goes on.

12 A.M

"James."

Adam said while he was scrolling on his phone.

"Hm?"

James was still trying to catch up with Adam, even when he had already finished the course.

"Time to get our butt up!"

Adam got up before James and grabbed his bag and open the door while James followed behind, Adam opened the door and go on the side.

"M'lady."

Adam joked as James decided to join.

"Thank you, gentleman."

They then laughed together all the way down to James's car.

"Ay, I may stay for a while, make sure to visit me!"

Adam smiled, which made James's face blush just a healthy amount and his heart warmed at this.

"Yeah..."

James started the car and they began moving.

They later arrived, the hospital was packed of people and James, Adam was taking the stuff off.

"Do you need to help with like...escorting you there?"

Adam laughed at James statement.

"Haha I have jaw problem not walking"

Adam cooed, James looked down in embarrassment.

"Right...Yeah ok"

He said while giving the stuff to Adam.

James stared at Adam walking to the hospital entrance.

He stopped turned back and shouted

"SEE YA!"

This adorable little action and phrase just made him sad.

He wanted to stay with Adam longer...
