Not giving in

Chapter 14

We had got home after our phone call to Blue and Olivia. we walked in the door sweating because it was 37• out side. We went and got changed into our swimmers and raced down to the pool. He threw me in. when I got out he wouldn't get in I knew I couldn't lift his so I pushed him. I jumped in after him.

After we had dried off we walked inside. Tom needed to go to the toilet. When he went I told my mum what he told me in the pool when his birthday was. His birthday Id on the same day as mine but he doesn't know that yet. Mum said she will ring his parents and organise for us to do something special together because it was our 13th. when he got out of the toilet I told him that our birthdays are on the same day the 21st of November.

"Really" he said.

"Yep they sure are" I said to him excitedly .

"Are you turning 13?" he asked.

"Yep same age as you" I exclaimed

"Perfect match" he said and then leaned in to kiss me.

The date was the 15th of November. Our birthdays were soon. Mum got a call off my grandma she said

"Come to Melbourne as soon as you can" then she hung up.

I told Tom what were and when we were going.

He said "don't leave I'll mis you to much" then I had an idea. I walked into the kitchen where mum was and said "can Tom come please" she thought for a second and replied " I don't see why not he will have to pay for everything :

He rang his parent and they said " yep If it get you out of the house and the are nice people so of course".

We got really excited we went to my room so u could pack we were leaving tomorrow. as soon as I had packed we went to his house so he could pack.
