Alex's parents had agreed to letting her stay at (Y/N)'s house, as did Laura's. So they had spent the day cleaning up their house as they lived alone, emancipated from their bad parents who kicked them out of the house when they turned 16. Hence why (Y/N) spent a lot of time working.

A knock sounds on the door, and (Y/N) opens to Laura and Alex, both holding a wrapped box.

"Hey! I made dinner! You guys can set your gifts down, thank you by the way, and eat!"

They set their stuff down, and they all ate some of the homemade pizza and fries that (Y/N) made while talking happily. Alex looks especially happy about the food, and seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. They laughed some more until (Y/N) had to go upstairs to grab their charger for Laura.

(Y/N) could hear them continue to laugh as they left, so they chuckled to themself. As they were pulling the charger out of the wall, (Y/N) hears yelling and cussing, followed along with a scream. They grab their softball bat and run downstairs, trying to be quiet but failing miserably.

When (Y/N) got downstairs, they see a man in a striped brown and muted green hoodie with a muted blue hood covering his hair. He was cornering Alex while Laura was trying to hit him in the back, but he looked completely unfazed, and was about to bring a hatchet down into Alex's head.

(Y/N)'s body takes off before they can think, and they take the softball bat into his head, knocking him out. He flies to the side a few inches from the hit and doesn't move other than some twitching after that. Alex, visibly shaken, takes a few minutes to stand up. (Y/N) hugs her, comforting her until they switch places with Laura so they can go into the garage and get rope. After that, the group tied him to (Y/N)'s recliner(it was heavy, so they chose that to keep him from moving) and discussed what they should do.

"Well, I think we should call the police," Laura said. "It's the logical thing to do, right?"

They hear unstable sounding chuckling coming from the man in the chair. "I-I woul-dn't suggest tha-t.."

"We didn't ask you," Alex says bluntly.

     "I'm ju-st sayin'... You'-re gonna di-e if you do-o," he says.

"What the fuck are you talking about," Alex says.

"I hav-e friends tha-t won't lik-e this.." He starts coughing, his throat seemingly dry. (Y/N) sighs and gets up to grab the man some water.

"What are you doing?" Alex asks, a bit angry. (Y/N) isn't entirely sure if the anger is directed at them, but continues on, not thinking too much of it.

"We're not monsters, Alex. Besides, I'm not gonna have someone dying or something in my house."

Laura laughs. "Hey, if he does, I know at least seventeen different ways to hide a body."

The man gives her a dead stare in response, but starts laughing, and launches into a coughing fit. (Y/N) puts the glass of water up to his lips and allow him to drink from it. He takes it gratefully, and then continues speaking.

     "W-wait, do yo-u seriously-y know that many? That's t-two more ways tha-n I know."

Laura laughs, and Alex's face shows suspicion as she stands behind where he can see her.

"Yeah, Tumblr teaches you a lot." They both laugh some more.

Alex decided to join into the conversation in a tone that has a somewhat careful tone.

"So, we're not going to call the police. What should we do with you now?" Alex steps in front of his tone. "And what's with the mask and goggles and stuff?"

"Le-et me go? And I-I don't hav-e to tell you."

Laura and the man continue to talk while Alex and (Y/N) try to decide what to do.

Alex looks over to Laura and the man, annoyed. (Y/N) asks what Alex was scoffing about, and Alex looks annoyed.

"Can't you tell what he's doing? Trying to gain our sympathy? I think it's working on Laura...and he's hiding his face."

"Oh, I guess that's a possibility. But should we actually let him go?"

"I'm gonna take his mask off.. Maybe we should take something of his to hold against him or something?"

     "I guess s-"

The sound of a window shattering sounds along with two sets of footsteps and shouting. At this point, (Y/N) decides that if they ever get out of this they're moving to a place closer to neighbors.

Alex arms herself with the closest item- a metal hanger- while (Y/N) grabs they're bat again. In comes a two men- one with a tan jacket, black and white mask, and another in a muted yellow jacket along with a black ski mask with a red frowning face. The man in the tan jacket was holding a pipe, and the other was holding a gun. The gun was definitely what set the 3 off.

The guy with the pipe was yelling at the man in the chair while untying him. The guy with the gun cornered the 3 into a corner. He says nothing, and (Y/N) listens to the conversation between the other two men.

"Toby you idiot! How did you get beat by 3 kids?!" So the guy in the chair is Toby, hm?

"I-It's not my f-fault, Tim!! They hi-t me with a ba-at!!!" Other guy is "Tim", got it.

After arguing for a bit, Tim calls out to the man with the gun.

"Brian, boss says to take them with us. Let's go."

The last thing (Y/N) saw was the butt of the gun coming to the back of their head.
