And On The Twelfth Week Of Pregnancy Finn Gave To Me

Morning sickness had not been kind to Rachel during this pregnancy. Her routine was the same every single day wake up, throw up, eat, throw up, drink water and crackers, feel nauseous all day, then give into her cravings (the baby loves french fries) regret it, get heartburn, throw it up, and go to sleep. Drinking club soda and saltines had been her best friends lately. Sorry to say Kurt and Mercedes are getting replaced. She was positive people were starting to notice because she couldn't make it through the day without throwing up at least twice. Especially the glee club was starting to notice. She was doing physically anything possible to avoid Finn and Quinn, but glee club she couldn't do anything about. She can't lie though, she secretly had a list of things she'd like to do since her hormones were making her wild, and a lot of not so nice things she'd like to do to Quinn, like kick her ass! Especially after every stupid make out session, hand hold, or hug! Ugh! Don't get her wrong Rachel likes to think she could kick Quinn's ass but being twelve weeks pregnant and barley above midget heigh kinda kicks the bucket on that idea. She knew that she would have to tell Finn eventually, she just didn't want to peace between everyone to end just yet. She knew how this conversation would go. She'd tell Finn, finn would deny it, tell Quinn, Quinn would of course assume she's lying for attention and kick her ass. Either way she says anything it's a lose/ lose situation in front of her. As she said though she already had a feeling everyone knew. Maybe it was time she told Mr. Schue about this baby?

Rachel and Finn were of course singing their duet like normal, practicing for nationals coming up soon and she couldn't help but feel the awkwardness she was putting off but she couldn't help it. She was positive Finn barley remember sleeping with her and he didn't know she was carrying his offspring and he doesn't know how much she wants him currently as she belting out a note of a warm up song. He took her hand and swung her in quickly and she instantly knew baby didn't like that at all. She quickly pulled away and covered her mouth and ran out of the room towards the bathroom and Mercedes ran after her. "Maybe she's anorexic, that's like the third time today." Quinn said rolling her eyes. Finn walked up the stairs to meet Quinn and sat next to her. "Mr. Schue she's throwing up everyday and it's kinda grossing me out, we don't need a sick girl all over our lead singer do we? Maybe I could take Rachel's spot." She said standing up and putting her hands on her hip. "Finn and I never disappoint." She smirked and grabbed Finns hand and held it against her butt. Finn would be lying if he said he didn't like Quinn. He did like her, this was his first real relationship. She's hot, he's hot and the sex is great. He knew he slept with Rachel that night and he knew that she was a virgin and he knew what he did was wrong since he cheated, but he liked Rachel and he was sure if he liked her or having sex with her. The sex was great and he'd do it again in a heartbeat. He shook these thoughts out of his head. He's with Quinn now and it needs to stay that way! He's at the top of his game and he's got the hottest girl in school. He just needed to pretend he doesn't remember and maybe everything will stay this great. Rachel and Mercedes came back from the restroom and Rachel looked awful. She was pale and shaking, but this was an everyday kinda thing. "Sadly she's back. Can hobbit and Frankenteen finish this so we can home?" Santana said sassily from her seat as she was picking at her nails. Quinn smirked at Santana "unless Rachel can't continue, I'd be happy to take her place!" Quinn smiled and gave Rachel a smirk. "Are you okay to continue Rachel?" Mr. Schue asked politely. Rachel had her head in her hands "yes, I'll be fine." She stood up and waited for Finn. Quinn saw Rachel looking up at him and she quickly pulled Finn in for a heated kiss and Rachel looked away. She wanted to scream she was pregnant with his baby and she wanted to tell Finn how she felt but she kept a fake smile on her face and looked up at them. "Done up there satan?" Rachel rolled her eyes and Quinn finished off the kiss with a short one. She quickly took a seat eyeing her as she grabbed Finns hand once again.

After that fiasco that satan and her minions caused during glee club Rachel knew she had to tell Mr. Schue soon, but today wouldn't be the day. She had another doctors appointment and if she was being honest she was super excited to see this baby. The baby that made her so happy and then so sick all within a minute. She had an appointment right after school today and she promised Kurt and Mercedes could come. Glee club practiced ended the same way it began, awful. They all left the room and walked out to Kurt's car, he picked them up this morning so they didn't have to drive and Rachel was actually super thankful. In addition to morning sickness, her feet and back were killing her and Kurt's car had heated seats that felt so good on her back. They got in the car and in seconds she turned the seat warmer on. "It's on the corner of Fowler" she told him in reference to the doctors office. It wasn't a far drive from the school about fifteenish minutes and they arrived in a short time as Kurt and Mercedes talked about how excited they were to see the little bean but Rachel was more than content in the car. If pregnancy was this bad so far she didn't want to see how much worse it could get. Kurt shut off the car and looked at her "ready mama?" She rolled her eyes at her nickname and straightened her dress out. This one was a straight at the others it had more of little bumps all over it to hide her bump. Since she was so tiny the bump was definitely showing. If she wore a T-shirt it would look like she's been eating a lot more. A good way to shut those stupid rumors down about her starving herself. She shook her head of those thoughts, this was her time with her baby and her friends and she needed to be in a different mindset. They walked in the building and she checked in. "You guys know you won't know the gender for a few more weeks right?" She said pulled out her phone and scrolling through her Instagram. "Of course we know! I've done all my reading to prepare me for this and I'm ready diva." Kurt said picking up a pregnancy magazine and looking through it. Mercedes chuckled at Kurt. "He's an uncle in training." She said and with that Rachel name was called. She close her phone and stood up "come on guys." She said and walked towards the nurse who she recognized as carol once again. "Hey! How are you?" She said and leaned in to hug carol. "I'm great and you?" Rachel smiles and felt carol hug her back. She really enjoyed it. "You look great mama, your glowing!!" She chuckled and brought Rachel over to the scale. She made Rachel step on and her weight popped up and Rachel felt tears come to her eyes "one fifteen" She smiled and looked at Rachel and saw her crying. " what's wrong honey, you are gaining weight this is great!!" She said with a smile and took Rachel to one of the rooms. "You can go ahead and lay on the table." She and let Rachel hop up on the table and allowed Mercedes and Kurt to follow. Carol shut the door and turned around and smiled. "Kurt! Hi! I didn't know you were a friend of Rachel's!" She smiled and walked over and gave Kurt a hug and Kurt hugged back. "Kurt you know carol?" Rachel pipped happily as carol was her favorite person here. "Yeah.. actually she's been seeing my dad for a few weeks now.." Kurt said crossing his legs and placing his hands on top of his knees. "Oh yes and it's been great. Oh yeah and my son goes to your school did you know that?" She smiled and had Rachel pull up her dress to reveal her cute little bump and places the blue sheet on her lower half. "Oh who is he? I might know him!" Rachel smiles and looked towards the screen. "It's Finn Rachel." Kurt said blankly staring at the screen. "Yeah his names Finn Hudson." Carol said and began moving the probe around and Rachel found herself choking. She began coughing violently and trying to catch her breath and carol pulled the probe off. "Oh honey are you okay?" She said getting Rachel some water quickly. "Yeah.. just swallowed weird." She said still coughing. HOW THE HELL DID SHE MANAGE TO BE THIS UNLUCKY!!!!! Not only did Finn not know she was pregnant but the future grandmother of her child is currently the one checking her. HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN? The shock on Mercedes face said it all. This was the shit you see on a soap opera or life the desperate housewife's? Nope this was actually happening to Rachel Barbra Berry of Lima Ohio! She eventually calmed herself down and Kurt was still staring at the screen and Mercedes had no idea how to respond to the situation. Carol put the gel and the probe back on and began looking for the baby. Soon the heartbeat filled the room and seconds later a little bigger of an alien was found. The baby had grew more and it was a little surreal to Rachel. "Alright so baby weighs a couple ounces more than last time, about point zero seven more, but now baby is opening and closing his or her fingers and curling their little toes. And baby's brain is developing fast, so that awesome! Baby is looking good on height and is about two inches long and is developing great. Exciting we can find out the gender soon! I'm so excited to be with you every step of the way!" She smiled and Rachel took the sheet and wiped off the gel "you have no idea.." she mumbled and carol turned to her oblivious to what was just said. "pictures will be at the front desk and make a sixteen week appointment okay and I'll see you soon sweetie." She said and Rachel pulled her dress down and walked out to the front desk and grabbed pictures and made an appointment. Kurt and Mercedes made there way out to the car and as soon as they got in and the door shut and the car turned on Rachel let lose. "How the hell could you not tell me Kurt? So Finns mom or this baby soon to be grandma is currently doing all my progress and has no idea I'm carrying her grand baby? How the hell does this happen? Is this real life?" She said leaning her head back against her seat and closing her eyes. Kurt looked over at her. "I'm sorry okay? I didn't realize till dinner the other night when she showed up with Finn and I had no idea how to react." He said placing his hands on the steering wheel. "This is some shit." Mercedes finally chimed in. "Like this is actually some shit you would see in tv!" She said shaking her head. "Well now you definitely have to tell Finn girl." She said and Rachel shook her head knowing she was right. "I know and I will, but right now I just want to go home" she sighed and turned her seat warmer back on and buckled her seatbelt. How come every time she left this doctors office it always left her with a bad feeling. She didn't care anymore, she wanted to go home and go to bed. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
