It was a bright and sunny Saturday morning in Dubai. The wind blew as the leaves swept along. I wore my Abaya along with my Hijab and got ready to pray Salatul Fajr in my room. When I was done offering salah, I went into the living room and said,” Assalamu Alaikum(peace be upon you)”. My Mom greeted back and said,”Walaikum Assalam(peace be unto you)” pasting a cute smile at the moment when she saw me.  How is your day going? She asked questionably looking at my face. “Alhamdulillah(I’m good)”, I said giving a smile back. My mom’s smile was as bright as the beautiful sun that shined.

“Inni, your breakfast is ready dear.” ,Ammi Jaan said. I told her,”Okay, I will be there soon”.  After a while, I went and ate Breakfast that my Ammi(Mom) made for me with the Hijab covering my hair. I then washed the dishes and went straight to my room to get freshed up in order to make wudu to perform Salatul Zuhr. After prayer, I walked straight to the kitchen sitting right next to the woman who meant the world to me. I asked Ammi Jaan(Mom), “What’s for lunch”? My stomach hurts and it is growling a lot, “Inni, can you please help me set up the table and serve lunch”? Of course, I said. Your Tayba’s family will be joining us anytime soon and tell your Brother,
Azhar Bhai to come to. As, I nodded my head the front door bell ranged and I clicked open the door. There I saw my favorite Tayba’s(Uncles) family.

The one who I loved so dearly with all my heart.  My face blushed with happiness as I saw them enter the house. I told Tayba and his family that the lunch is waiting and is being served. We all went to the Dining table, sat together, and ate lunch. While eating lunch, my cousin Imran gave me those looks and winked at me. I had no idea as to why he was doing that and I started to look away. I kept wondering about the looks he gave me for a while. But, I still didn’t know what was going on.
Later, that afternoon I took a nap for about 2 hours and woke up to the beautiful sound of the Adhan from the Masjid that’s right in front of my house.

This beautiful Masjid shines my heart with what I call,
”True happiness”.  Alhamdulillah, every little thing is a blessing from Allah S.W.T. A blessing in which I could hear the Jummah khutba(Islamic teaching)  and the beautiful sound of the Adhan(call to prayer) very clearly. I offered Salah and made tons of dua that my wishes becomes a reality one day.
After a while, my very Best friend called me and said,”Inayah, come over it’s been a long time”. I told her,”Zareen Jaani, I will surely come by today In sha Allah”. That afternoon, I got ready and headed towards my besties house for whom I knew for 16 years. When I got to Zareen’s house she hugged me so tight and gave me a 16 years friendship necklace and a ring with a beautifully decorated card. She told me about so many things and reminded me of How much I mean to her.

Soon after, Zareen asked me if I wanted to eat anything. I told her,” No; Jaaneman I don’t want anything to eat, but thank you so much for asking”. As evening fell, Me and Zareen went to freshen up in order to make wudu and prayed Salatul Maghrib together and decided to go for shopping at the Dubai Mall. Right when I went to the mall with her I got a strange feeling from the inside. Little did I know what that strange kind of  feeling was. This strange feeling kept bothering me. So, to overcome it I read Durood-E-Shareef and blowed it all over myself. And,within minutes that strange feeling went away. But, on a serious note I was really worried as I didn’t know what to tell Zareen. Zareen on the other hand started to cry since she saw me in excruciating pain that came out of nowhere and all of a sudden.

But, to get rid of that pain I was experiencing Zareen took me to the Grand Hotel in Dubai next to Burj Khalifa. This place was very beautiful, had lots of fun as we spend quality time that will never be forgotten despite of what. On my way back from the mall to Zareen’s house, I told Zareen about those crazy and funny jokes we would make infront of each other. She loved every bit of the little memories I shared with her about our days well spent. One thing is for sure, “The friendship that lasts longer than 7 years will last for a lifetime”. This saying was just stuck in my head as I knew it was true. Upon leaving I told her,”Allah Hafiz” and “I love you to the moon and back meri Jaani”. And, oh one thing I forgot to tell you Zareen, “You’re invited to the Nikah ceremony of my Brother on Friday, May 11th at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Be sure to be there Bestie.
“I will surely be there, don’t worry”. That very night, I went home and prayed Salatul Isha and went right to bed.
