Keter
The door slammed in Keter's face, "And a good day to you too, IceWings," he grumbled. Then he turned and ran out of the greasy old building. He ran as fast as he could, he did not want to miss this conversation. He turned down and alley and looked behind himself to he sure he wasn't followed. While he had his head still turned he ran into something hard, so hard that he fell back off the dragon. When he got back up he was greeted not so friendly by three large MudWings. One of which was holding an mirror if Obsidian.
Keter quickly brushed off and greeted the MudWings as if they've know each other for quite some time, which of course, they hadn't, "Ah Gharial, Alligator and Caiman! So nice to finally meet you and boy are you a lot larger than I expected," Gharial was nearly twice as tall as Keter was.
"We don't have much time SandWing, we're on a mission. Who are those two IceWings and what do they need?" The largest, Gharial, growled.
"I'm not sure but I can be if you just give me that mirror, I have as much interest in recruiting them as I do recruiting you," Keter said reaching a talon towards the mirror, opening and closing it like a baby dragonet. Gharial, never taking his eyes off Keter, took the mirror from the grayish colored MudWing with small black splotches on her scales, Caiman. He then thrust it into Keter's chest with a talon armed with metal claw-covers.
"You're lucky I'm feeling generous today, now get on with this business so we can here yours," Gharial growled. A similar growl came from the other two MudWings.
Keter flinched back, "Shhh! Keep your voices down," he worried in a shushed voice.
"We're in a murder city," the back MudWing said in an oozing voice.
Keter flinched and ignored him, blowing a puff of smoke over the mirror and whispering, "Snowdrift," A pale blue puff of smoke, so pale it was almost white, appeared above the mirror.
"Uh, Krona we just have a couple questions, we're not looking for a whole lesson," the blue smoke said in Snowdrift's voice, "We just need to know the best way to the rainforest,"
"Oh...ok," a pale yellow puff of smoke appeared next to the blue one, "Why do you want to go to the rainforest? Such a horrible place,"
"Well, we're kinda hiding," a slightly whiter plume of smoke said in the IceWing, Penguin's voice.
"Ah well, the rainforest would be a good place to hide, I hear a few SeaWings have been doing that too," The Krona plume of smoke said.
All four dragons' ears in the alleyway shot up at the mention of SeaWing.
"The SeaWing is there? So close to our Mud Kingdom?" Caiman asked, baring her teeth.
"It's time to attack!" Gharial practically roared.
"No," Keter hissed, "We'll have to take advantage of the situation,"
Gharial looked down at the small SandWing, "I don't take orders from anyone, especially not little snacks like you," He said dropping to his front talons and stalking towards Keter.
"No no no, wait!" Keter rushed, "Think about it, he probably has guards with him. Furthermore you can't storm into the rainforest, the RainWings spit venom! All that, just to kill Abyss?"
"How do you know we're after Abyss?" Alligator hissed. Keter seemed to have a wall of MudWing forming around him.
"I know a dragon, she's after him too, she'll do anything to have him dead. She only sent me here to meet you because she believes you can help each other," Keter explained hurredly.
"When do you leave?" Krona's voice asked.
"Tonight, as soon as we get directions," Snowdrift's answered.
How long will they be in the rainforest? I would hope I could make it there in time, WhiteTip would be very pleased if I got the support of the IceWings from her, Keter's mind rushed.
Gharial blew out the smoke puffs and the alleyway was silent except the quiet chirp of small crickets and the distant sounds of the bazaars. "Who is this dragon? And why does she think she could help us?" Gharial said.
"Well actually you'd most likely be helping her..." Keter trailed off as Gharial barked a laugh.
"As if," he said and laughed with his brother and sister.
"No really, she knows him best of any dragon, she grew up with him and more importantly, she's making an army," Keter said slyly, "I was actually sent here to bring you back to her fortress,"
"An army..." Gharial said curiously, "For one dragon?"
"Among other things, yes," Keter answered.
"Take us to her," Gharial said.
