I slowly sipped on my coffee at my desk as I was typing away on the keyboard with my other hand. I could see him coming this way and I started to get nervous.
Why are even nervous , (Y/N) ? He doesn't even know your name.
Okay deep breaths .Act like you're busy. Yes ,yes.
I was in the library doing some research during lunch break and Thomas walks in .Thomas. Of all places.
My heart skipped a little and I tried to keep my posture right. No, he'd think I'm a nerd. My nerves screamed and me.
"Excuse me," a voice said. I looked up, Thomas.
"Jesus," I muttered. He frowned at me and shook his head, " I'm Thomas."
I know, I wanted to tell him.
"Where's the, um," he continued.
Enough of your doubts on the library ask about me.
"Laboratory ?" I continued," Well, it's definately not in here, mister."
He blinked at me. "Do you read ?"
"Am I illiterate ?" What am I doing ?! "Oh, you meant novels ?" He nodded.
"I just, wanted something to read," his cheeks turned red. Were novels that bad ? I handed the book in my hand to him.
