Y/N pov~

I groan as I roll out the bed trying my hardest to turn off my alarm. Wait, alarm? I dont have an alarm. Grabbing my phone squinting my eyes to see what was causing me to wake up early. "Hey buddy" I heard after accepting the call from my 'best friend'. Diego is obsessed with black jackets and I do not now why. Why am I telling you this? Well because that is how we met.

Flashback~

I was sitting in a chair at the new bar 'Night Lights' drinking a cup of coke. "Have your ever tried to wear a black jacket" someone said to me. At least I think someone said to me. I turn my head towards the person who's voice I've heard a second ago seeing that he was looking at me. He had dark brown blackish hair with hazel eyes and of course he was wearing a black jacket.

"Huh" I responded confused on why hes suddenly talking to me. "Maybe you'll get more girls if you wear a black jacket" he said looking at me and I raise my eyebrows. "How'd you know I was gay" I question him.

"Maybe it's your lack of confidence" he said to himself still looking at me ignoring my last question. I sigh and decide to try to ignore him but its wasn't easy. " You've been staring at that girl for the past few minutes but you haven't went to say hi" he said after a while of talking catching my attention. "Let's play a game" he said making me look towards him again and raise my brow. "Look man, I dont even know you so just leave me alone" I said to him hoping he would leave me alone. I've had a very bad day today and I just wanted to get some alone time without my roommate bothering me every now and then.

"Nonsense, so the game is have you met" he suddenly stopped speaking and pointed his finger at me. "What's your name" he asked and I shook my head smiling in amusement taking another sip of my coke. "Why would I tell you that" I asked looking at the girl again. "Because were best buds now and I need to know my best buds name" he replied. I dont really have a lot of friends that are in New York so it wouldn't hurt to try and make one, right?

"Y/n"

He got up and walked over to the girl I've been staring at. Once I realise what hes doing my eyes widen and i shake my head no. He walked towards me with the girl and I put my head on the bar out of embarrassment. "Have you met Y/n/n (your nickname)" he said walking off to talk to some other people. "Hi" she said to me.

"Hi"

Flashback ended~

"What do you want" I asked slowly making my way downstairs. "I'm back in town and theirs a new bar in town" he responded. I knew I couldn't say no without him bugging me so I agreed to check it out with him.
