I was at the store getting the neccesities you need for a party. I already called Bruce to tell him about the party were all of a sudden telling him to invite all his friends. He was mad the this came up last minute especially since he has a paper to write for his job due in 4 days but I reassured him that after this party I would help him finish the paper.

I got home and noticed the place was all decorated, I knew for sure it was Diego's work. Right on cue Diego came out from the back hallway into the living room. "Did someone think my name" he asked and I just laughed shaking my head. "Your so weird man" I responded. In all my life I never heard someone say the things Diego says which makes him an even more annoying/fun bestfriend.

Its currently 7 and the party started an hour ago. I was looking around for Sofia when I ran into someone. "My bad" I said as I looked up to see a girl with green eyes. "No its fine, I wasn't looking where I was going" she said with a smile. To be honest I've never saw her around before and I saw all of Bruce's friends. "Not to be rude but may I ask who invited you here" I asked her causing her to laugh. "Rico did" I nodded and smiled even though I didn't know who that was. "oh, well nice talking to ya" I said walking off to where Bruce, Diego, and Bruce's fiancé were. "Do you guys know who Rico is" I asked them and the all responded with a no, all at the same time too. I shook it off though to once more look for the girl I can't stop thinking about.

Its now 12 which means the party is over and that Sofia didn't show up. Knowing I had to get some medicine for my bud since he drank a lot, I went to the nearest drug store. Going inside I see none other then Sofia. "Sofia heyyy" I said getting her attention. She turn towards me and smiled. "Hey Y/n, nice to see you again"

"I noticed you weren't at the party" I saw making her frown a bit. "Yeah, I'm sorry about that but my brother here" she pointed to a boy who was in a machine, "got stuck in the claw machine" she finished sounding frustrated. Finally looking around I notice the news crew and firefighters where here. That's weird I didn't notice them before. "I'm sooo sorry, now I feel bad" she put her hands over her eyes putting her hands down. What I said next was maybe the dumbest thing Ive said so far. "No no no, Its fine, we're having another party tomorrow night anyways" she raised her eyebrows and had a challenging smirk on her face.

"Oh really" the shorter girl questioned and I nodded my head. "Yeah, its an two night party celebration... thing...." I said. "well Ill see if I can make it" she said and I nodded walking off (not before saying bye of course) and went to the store next door to get supplies for the new party coming up.

"Hey buddy" I said to Bruce handing him a cup of water and a pill for his hangover which he gladly took and drank. "Hey" he replied making me smile. "So we're having another party tonight so uh... invite people" I said before running off. I heard a booming 'WHAT' in the distance but ignored it walking into the kitchen setting up the snacks and drinks.

One again we had a party. I met the green-eyed goddess, who's name is Lauren, and her friends Dinah, Normani, Ally, and Camila. They're fun to hang out with tho they had to go early, I got their phone numbers to keep in touch. I still dont know who Rico is.

It's now the end of the night and I'm walking back home from the store. Sofia didn't show up again which broke my little heart a bit. I accidentally bumped into someone snapping me out of my thoughts I was quick to grab them. Looking into those all too familiar eyes I notice it's the shorter girl I was thinking about not to long ago.

"Oh my gosh, Y/n" she said obviously surprised to see me. After looking into each others eyes for a few minutes I break the stare with a cough. "Um.. yeah, sorry about that" I said lifting her onto her feet so she can stand on her own. I let go of her looking up to see her frowning for a second. She quickly regains her smile which soon turns into a embarrassed look. "Y/n I am so sorry I couldn't make it to your party, its jump I had to watch my dog cause she got sick and I'm actually going to the sto-"

"Its fine" I say cutting her off. "It would be cool if you had another party going on but you dont so.."

I close my eyes tight knowing what I was about to say. "Actually, we do" I said punching myself in the face in my head.
"Really" she asked not believing me once again. "Yeah, it's a tradition my friend said he does and I was like 'why not' so yeah" she giggled at my rambling and pulled me into a hug. I was surprised at first but quickly hugged back.

"I have to go now but i see you tonight" she softly said in my ear making me shiver.

"YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME"

My bestfriend was mad right now cause he had stuff to do and this party was a distraction since the paper was due tomorrow.

I manage to convince him to calm down and just do the paper now but that didnt last long when someone spilled their drink on him.

"What the fuck"

"Dude calm down" I said trying to get him not to punch the dude in the face. "No, FUCK YOU, YOU HAVE BEEN TORTURING ME FOR TGE PAST THREE DAYS AND NIGHTS FOR A GIRL WHOS NOT EVEN SHOWING UP" he said to me which broke my heart.

We both heard a cough causing him to turn around and for me to look over his shoulder. My eyes widen as I see Sofia walking towards me. "You really did all of this for me" she asked and I slowly nodded my head.

"Is there somewhere we can talk in private" I waved my hand showing her to follow me and we go to the roof. The roof has always been a romantic place to go to and I wanted to take Sofia up here to, just not like this. "I cant do this" she suddenly says. I look at her confused.

"What do you mean"

"I know you think you like me but you dont" she starts but I quickly jump in. "I do like you"

"No you like the thought of me, the thought of being in a relationship" I take a few steps closer and she doesn't move. "I like you" i say taking a few steps closer. "I like your smile, your beautiful eyes, even your reaction to something weird" that make her giggle a little making me smile. "I love your giggle" we were so close to each other i could feel her breaths.

"I love you"

I am so stupid. Who says I love you like that. I swear it's all because if the time. After sometime me and my friends had a theory that after 12 you tend to not think straight and do weird things. Me and Sofia agreed to be friends and now me, Diego, Bruce and his fiancé were at a booth in MacLaren's having an argument about the signal.

"I'm telling you that was not the signal guys, trust me I know" I said referring to what happened before Sofia left.

Flashback

"I think were better off as friends" I was standing in front of the apartment door and she was in front of me. "I dont think I could do that, I'm sorry" I said being honest. I do not know how I would get over her.

We were making eye contact with her and I saw her slowly look at my lips and look back up biting her lip

Flashback Ended

Damn.

She later told me it was the signal but it too late now, I fucked up and now were friends. I dont know how to get over h-

"FUCK" I yell as I felt my body burn. I look down to see a brown spot on my white sweater realizing it coffee. "Oh my gosh, I so sorry" I look up an my breath hitches.

Nevermind
