Getting To Know

"Then I shot up with a scream and you should've seen his face, I pretty sure he peed himself" I finish explaining with a laugh. It's been about an hour and we've already finished the food I set up. We started walking around when Ariana had asked me to tell her about myself so that's what I've been doing. I threw in interesting stories here and there that I thought was funny.

"You guys sound like amazing friends" she said laughing herself at the story I just finished telling.

"Well yeah, inseparable some would say. He's actually got married not that long ago so that's nice" I trail off.

"Enough about me though, what about you" I question the brunette standing next to me.

"There's not much to know" she said with a small sigh. I shake my head in response and stopping. This made her stop too considering we are holding hands.

"Come on, there has to be something interesting about the beautiful Ariana...."

"Grande"

"Grande! See that's already something interesting right there. A beautiful name for a unbelievably beautiful girl" is say enthusiastically with a wide smile on my face.

"Oh shut up" she huts my arm with her shoulder.

"How about you make me" I tease back. She pulls me into a kiss causing me to smile. Once we pull apart we kept our faces close together.

"I don't think that worked considering I'm still talking" I said jokingly. She pulled me into another kiss this one being longer than the last. We stayed kissing until we ran out of breath.

Going back to holding hands and walking she began to tell me about herself.

"And I'm a singer" she ended off.

"And you said you weren't interesting" I said sarcastically.

"You're so mean and for what"

"Why not"

"Ugh"

"Do you need help" I laugh out seeing Ariana trying to climb into my truck.

"N-no I don't, see I got it!" She responded finally getting in.

"Took you long enough" I shut the door for her and go to the driver's seat.

"Why didn't you drive the nice car, I liked the car" she asked with a pout making me chuckle.

"Well my mom needed it today so I gave it to her"

"That's nice of you"

"I know." She slapped my arm with a scoff. I proceeded to drive when I got an idea in my head.

"You said you sing right? And Vic said you were basically famous, so why don't you play me some of your music" I say. She turns to me with a surprised look on her face. I turn to meet her gaze with a small smile then her son replicating it.

"Are you serious" she questions as if in joking. Instead of responding I hand her my phone that I unlocked and put on Spotify. She happily took it and searched for her music or name.

I saw her click shuffle befor sitting my phone in her lap and looking ahead.  I could see through my peripherals that the singer was glancing at me from time to time. Her smile got wider as I began to tap my fingers along to the music and catch onto the lyrics.

"This is really good and catchy" I say to her as it ended.

"Thank you, I was nervous you wouldn't like it" she revealed and I gave her a reassuring smile.

"Are you kidding? BoOoOoY got me walking side to side, that's a real lyrical genius right there" I joke. Soon after finishing all the songs on the so called 'dangerous woman' album we made it to her stop and sat in the car finishing the last song singing along. I walk her to the door like the good person I am and we turn our bodies to face each other fully.

"I had the greatest time ever, I would definitely mark this as number one in the 'best date ever' list" she said jokingly said.

"Well im glad, it took alot of convincing to get my fellow employees to stay and help out"

She nods her head and we make eye contact holding it before we kiss. We both smile when pulling apart and was about to go into another when the door was opened by an excited Frankie. I jump in surprised and watched as he dragged Ariana in the house saying "tell me everything" and he responded with "let go of me Frankie, you are so annoying".

I just shake my head in amusement and was about to leave when I get stopped by a voice.

"Oh hello Y/n"
