On an early fall night, sounds of joy and festivities rang throughout the air. Leaving seemed to be the most difficult task of the night. With all the laughter and happiness surrounding us, it almost seemed impossible to leave, but sadly we had to. On the journey home we joked and reminisced about the good time we've shared. The rain battered against the roof of the car, making it hard to see or hear. For four years I've had this angel in my life and she was absolute perfection.

I began to admire everything about her, like how her long, raven hair always fell perfectly into place, especially after she ran her fingers through it. To match her dark hair she had luminous hazel eyes and those beautiful eyes were always smiling. Her smile was the most smile I have ever seen, because it was genuine. Her luscious, rosy lips only enhanced the beauty of her flawless face. She had lily white skin, which only made me believe more and more that she really was an angel.

In that moment I noticed that the angel beside me was slowly becoming a dark silhouette. Behind her arose several blinding lights, which seemed to be coming closer and they weren't slowing down. I knew what was to come, but she was oblivious due to my never ending smile. I didn't want her last moments to be moments of fear and so I slowly said, "I love you", and she said, "I love you t..."

Darkness was all I could see until I opened my eyes and standing above me were two men. Blue and red lights flashed violently. They were trying to save us. The man couldn't stop his vehicle himself, but his truck managed to stop itself, when it crashed into us. In my last moments I managed to hear them mention a girl, my girl, my angel. Within seconds I heard them say, "She's gone" and then, so was I.
