Chapter 1

It took them a day to find Izuku Midoriya, the 14 year old, quirkless, highschooler's corpse. The mother of the boy was worried he didn't come home the usual time around and had hoped that it might've because an incident occured that might've delayed him but by time it was past 8, it was then she began to really worry. She called the cops but they informed her that they'd do their best tracking boy. She had cried to the extent that she passed out from doing so and when she woke up, she got a call that her son was found.

But dead.

The horror and panic was evident on her wrinkly features and voice as she quickly rode a taxi to where Izuku's school was, shouting it wad an emergency. Luckily, it was 4 AM in the morning so only few cars were around. Outside the school gates was a police car with two officers conversing with a man in white janitor attire and an ambulance parked. Inko quickly asked them what happened to her baby.

The janitor took the responsibility to tell her.

"I-I'm sorry mam...I couldn't do anything when I found your son." His voice was a little bit cracking. "I was doing my early cleaning duty and as I was about to take out the trash, I so happen to have seen...your son.." he trailed, pausing. He looked at the mother, her eyes glassy. "I found him in a thicket of bushes. Maybe that's why he wasn't found by the patrol guards but he—" the janitor took a sharp breath. "He was dead. No breathing. No pulse. No nothing. I immediately called the ambulance and they soon arrived with the cops."

One of the police officers that was fidgeting throughout the explanation finally spoke. "We were able to find this on the rooftop."

He handed a Inko a letter incased in an envelope with words, written scribbly, that broke the mother's heart.

"I love you Mom"

At that moment, Inko broke into tears.
