Tyler's POV

"Okay Tyler, how are you feeling?"

I was sitting on my cold, white bed, facing the nurse across the room.

"I-I'm feeling conflicted. Like I'm not myself."

"That's because you aren't yourself, Tyler. We've ran a few tests, we believe you have multiple personality disorder and bipolar disorder."

She paused, as if waiting for a reply, but I already knew I had those things.

"What can I do about it? What can you do to help me be normal?"

I looked at her with pleading eyes, all I want is to be okay. I want to stop hurting people I care about, to stop being overcome by blurry.

"Well, I'm going to administer you with some medication for the next 72 hours, like a trial run. I'm going to figure out which ones help you the most, which ones make you feel like you again, Tyler."

She smiled at me hopefully.

"When the 72 hours are completed, you'll be released. Maybe as the real Tyler."

She came over to me with 2 pills in one hand, and a paper cup of water in the next.

"Take both of these, okay? I have to watch you, just as a safety procedure."

I slowly took the cup and allowed her to dump the hospital candy into my hand.

I'm going to be Tyler again.

I quickly threw back the pills and downed the water after them, opening my mouth to show her that they were gone.

"Good job! Okay, over the next few hours, I will be monitoring you and asking you a few questions about your soon to be mental state. When these meds wear off in about 7 hours, I'll bring you the next set to try out. Sound good?"

Even though the medicine didn't have time to kick in, I already felt better.

"Sounds wonderful. Thanks."

I was now on the road to improvement.

The road to Y/N.
